I don't understand the connection between you, the player, and the music. Yes, the builds up the more area is covered but that's got nothing to do with creating your owm music.
I got 100% on this level and stopped playing for the day. The following day it started from stage1. That is crap
I'm so damn confused by the game. I understand the concept of having to fill the whole screen, but how exactly is there a relation to music? is it just for background or something?
The musicians, for the game designers, in a sense had to themselves "design" the music, or "engineer" it. The songs start simply. A musical scale is synced to each song. It's meant to be like writing your own music- the bar sweeps across the screen, over YOUR pieces/notes - -a high tone is played for pieces high on the screen, low tones from low on the screen. All the notes that "you" have "written" have been played in the predefined scale - so as to fit the song

@zingmars In order to "see" how the music is intertwined into the game-play you have to be quite musically inclined-
As I am musically inclined I believe I understand, and I could attempt to explain it.
