I was just wondering since if you have a plastic mold like those mold you use for actually resin, can you use them with hot glue? I got this ice cube mold and I was wondering if I could use it. Thanks!
You just blew my mind with your awesome idea! MY HEAD EXPLODED!!! It's so simple, it's like "Why didn't I think of that?" lol. For making the plate not look so choppy around the edges, have you tried using a nail file and like smoothing out the edges? I know paper/cardboard tends to go "fluffy" on the edges if you do that. It won't look completely smooth if you over file. But just a thought to test. :-)
You are Awesome i have a pink hot glue gun!! pink is epic and its breast cancer month wow......um yeah imma go cut some pumpkins for tommoroow and make some resin charms!! :
I used to make these when i was 3 i remember thinking they were so cool. except for the fact of burning my self every five minutes. by minutes i mean seconds (:
HI GRET TUTORIAL i was wondering is it possible to put something INSIDE the creation just like a real resin ???? if there is you should make a tutorial
@EverythingSparkly353 Not all hot glue is created equally. Some glue is cheap and peels off of EVERYTHING, even porous surfaces, but some stuff is so strong you can't even pick it off metal sheeting, so I would make sure you're very familiar with the glue you're using before you attempt to peel it off, but like she said, the white plate makes a good background. Otherwise, you kinda wind up with something that picks up the color of whatever you're wearing it over. Also, try colored paper!
@cutiecreativekimkim They get it at Micheals in the section were like superglue is and gloss it will say "easy cast epoxy" kind of like a tin with some blueish stars on it!
i thi k it would b more kewler (is that a word?) if you put a very small amout of glue on like a thin layer and add the micky head then goback over it on top of it! :D
thats really cool i am going to make one now!!!!

Can you use hard molds or no ? Just flexible molds ?
CreativeGirl102 9 months ago
@CreativeGirl102 No, It will just ruin the hard mold :(
julialovestodraw 9 months ago
@julialovestodraw you could use a hard mold as long as you put some kind of lubricant like vaseline in the mold first :)
