  • I use an X-acto knife to cut mine out...

  • @AJ120409 btw from my last comment u can put glitter under the hot glue like if you put it on before you put the glue down... ^-^

  • Cool Idea!! I did tried it And it really workss!!!

  • can you put water in resin

  • cant you just peel the glue off of the plate. wht if you use a mold it will pop out of it right??

  • I was just wondering since if you have a plastic mold like those mold you use for actually resin, can you use them with hot glue? I got this ice cube mold and I was wondering if I could use it. Thanks!

  • You just blew my mind with your awesome idea! MY HEAD EXPLODED!!! It's so simple, it's like "Why didn't I think of that?" lol. For making the plate not look so choppy around the edges, have you tried using a nail file and like smoothing out the edges? I know paper/cardboard tends to go "fluffy" on the edges if you do that. It won't look completely smooth if you over file. But just a thought to test. :-)

  • How would you use molds and get tyem out in time to put in glitter and such???

  • after i watched this i made a whole bunch of them i love it i am definetly going to subscribe

  • I used to make these when i was 3 i remember thinking they were so cool. except for the fact of burning my self every five minutes. by minutes i mean seconds (:

  • HI GRET TUTORIAL i was wondering is it possible to put something INSIDE the creation just like a real resin ???? if there is you should make a tutorial

  • @EverythingSparkly353 I have tried and it turns out kinda foggy! ♥

  • @EverythingSparkly353 Ya, use a candy mold

  • @EverythingSparkly353 Ya, use a candy mold, but with hot glue its cloudy if it is too thick, buy liquid nails silicone adhesive crystal clear

  • @EverythingSparkly353 if you put clear glaze on it it will be clear as day ^-^

  • Can you peel it off ?

  • @EverythingSparkly353 Sorta LOL! ♥

  • @EverythingSparkly353 Not all hot glue is created equally. Some glue is cheap and peels off of EVERYTHING, even porous surfaces, but some stuff is so strong you can't even pick it off metal sheeting, so I would make sure you're very familiar with the glue you're using before you attempt to peel it off, but like she said, the white plate makes a good background. Otherwise, you kinda wind up with something that picks up the color of whatever you're wearing it over. Also, try colored paper!

  • going to try this :)

  • how do you use a mold for it?

  • Thanks

  • it works with wax paper so u can peel it off but i like ur idea alot tho

  • can u do a tut on it again but with the flexible mold

  • hehe! instead of using a paper plate u can also use a tin foil then u can just peel it off u dnt have to cute.. this helpd me thanks! :)

  • Love the idea! I always wanted to make resin but I didn't have the stuff for it, so thank u very much for the idea!! :D

  • @1LovelySunshine1 What center thing? You mean the heart? Thats a sprinkle!

  • Can you use hard molds or no ? Just flexible molds ?

  • @CreativeGirl102 No, It will just ruin the hard mold :(

  • @julialovestodraw you could use a hard mold as long as you put some kind of lubricant like vaseline in the mold first :)

  • This is a really helpful tutorial. thanks ! Can you make a video showing us how to mix the paint ino the glue? :o

  • @tawkicharms Sure! But its more diffucult !

  • Btw How do you mix paint into them?? The hot glue dries pretty fast so...

  • where do you get resin thing?? ive been asking this question to different people and they never answer!!

  • @cutiecreativekimkim They get it at Micheals in the section were like superglue is and gloss it will say "easy cast epoxy" kind of like a tin with some blueish stars on it!

  • :D I just made some of these using my molds and they look awesome!! I'm going to use them as cabochons!!! :) Thanks for making my request.

  • awesome idea!!!!! i'm gonna use it to make cabochons! ^_^

  • i thi k it would b more kewler (is that a word?) if you put a very small amout of glue on like a thin layer and add the micky head then goback over it on top of it! :D

  • @craftystuffz101 I have tried before and it dries foggy!

  • @julialovestodraw ohh darnit why does it have to b foggy! :((

  • @serenatran2000 mix paint or buy colored clue sticks!

  • If you use a plastic plate cant you peel it off? [suggestion ><]

  • @DOONIERAWR No well you can it just looks really weird and its hard to pull off!

  • @DOONIERAWR if you work on a kitchen counter it will peel off :)

  • Good idea :D I have similar idea before but I just dont have time to work it out XD Cool to have a video to guide me :P

  • @teddycharmHK Cool! I guess.. your welcome XD

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • YAYYY!!

  • to make it non "choppy" you can use an exacto knife

  • Good idea!

  • @KawaiiClay Thanks! ♥
