MichiganTNP, thanks! Yes, we enjoy N. Higgins Lake and the AuSable River, but as for many tens of thousands, had to move out of Michigan to were work is - Greater Chicago. Now my camping trips are to Wisconsin. Actually, likely to camp up in UP near Iron Mountain since it is only 6 hours from here. Got a camping and canoe trip planned on the Pine River in the Manestee National forest SW of Cadillac in late June. Coolwater Campground.
