I'd like it if they annunciated (sp?) better. sucks when u cant understand the lyrics even if they are meaningless. I have to say though, this is the best doom band I've found so far. I wanna get into doom cuz i like slow droning stuff, I just keep finding stuff that's TOO droning and boring and stupid (my opinion) like the few Sunn O))) vids i saw. but hey, they might be good, i just haven't found any good stuff yet. like this song though. so dark and emotional!

I think that 'ahab' is one of those bands. They're just a little bit too simple. Just check out 'The Hunt' / 'Old Thunder'. Very nice songs! This song is nice too. The beginning is so dark, just lovely.

I'm a violinist btw. and i dont know about the album Quietus, i've been looking through the "Doom" genre for some good bands to look into but I don't have any albums at all of that kind right now. I just watch youtube vids till i find stuff I like and then i get it. I suggest doing the same, just watching a bunch of vids form Quietus and seeing if you like it. btw, what language do you speak?

That's funny, I just watched a vid from "My Dying Bride". I liked it, but not enough to go out and buy one of their cd's yet. I'm gonna look into it though. A band I like (a LOT) that has a violinist though is Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Their violinist, Carla Kilstedt, is AMAZING. They do other projects like Idiot Flesh and 2 foot yard and book of knots, but i like SGM the best. They're more like avant-garde contemporary classical music mixed with post-rock though, but they are kind of metal too
