The Republican party isn't paying attention here in PA. They endorsed another party guy, Pat Toomey, instead of nominating Peg Luksik.Peg is more, conservative more articulate, more principled, but..... less funded. So you guessed it, the GOP nominated the money man party kiss up who compromises on abortion.This was even after Peg made him look like a fool in the debate for endorsement. i'm a registered Republican but I'm tired of parties running the country instead of "We the people."

I'm from Pa, a conservative democrat,whose fed up with the liberal takeover of the party,so I occasional look at the conservatives on the other side.The Tea Party is appealling to me when the repubs start acting like liberals.The obama admin. has no idea who many ppl they've alienated and there are many union ppl like me that are fed up! I saw a great movie last Sunday called "Tribulation" starring Gary Busey that showed exactly what leftists would love - to brainwash everyone into believing they are the saviours! Now granted this was about the Devil and End Times prophecy as well as the New World Order - but isn't this basically what the left wants anyhow?

People should stop equating the tea party with republicans. Rather, the tea party should present itself as a civics lesson from the bottom up.

It's not people who are equating tea parties with Republicans - it is the GOP itself as well as the liberal media who has done this. When people like Sarah Palin, once a GOP candidate for VP, steps up in front of a tea party crowd and begins to spew typical political spin and the people there applaud, it brings down the tea party movement and pushes it deeper into the hands of moderate Republicans who will use this as a way to keep things "the same old same-old."

I actually love being called a racist anymore. I enjoy when some mindless Obama drone comes up and points out my "ENOUGH" bumper sticker on my car with both the GOP elephant and the DNC donkey on it and asks, "why do you hate Obama so much? Are you a racist?"

Then I proudly pull out a home made "KEYES FOR PRESIDENT 2008" pin that I made and proclaim how I campaigned for Dr. Keyes, voted for Dr. Keyes and supported Dr. Keyes - and how Keyes is black ... so he and I both must be racists!
