You are very good, I have some practice to do yet! Beautiful Yamaha too.
I like the blue bucket, adds a bit of life to videos of piano playing (not yours in general) it's a touch of colour, colour is life, just like music! In fact the bin looks like a piece of art just put there especially. Well done, musical AND artistic!
Amazing song, im playing it,, for my ensemble,,, im kinda scared because da piece i have is soooooo slow D: and its a viola quartet, and my friend that has the slowest part keeps saying that she cant play it right because her piece its tooo slow.. idk what to do to improve it, and to make the judges like it :"(
Really good! But are you losing tempo here and there? I noticed that you tended to change note values and so on. But it's your interpretation of the piece so your entitled to it I suppose! Anyway good job!!!

I love this. You play beautifully. Thanks for sharing it with us. My daughter sang this song at Interlochen this summer. I find this song to be so peaceful.
Uggh the arpeggios killed it for me...do you even know all the chords in this song? I'm not sure you got them all right during the first interlude part from like 0:46-1:00...seriously
Didn't like it also, sorry. You behave way too much behind the piano and i miss the lyric way the music should be played. It is too fast and too much 'pop-style' in my opinion.
your notes arrangement is tasteful, nice rendition. But the tempo-swings are just horrible and unexplainable...it's like u r kissing a woman and right in the middle of her passion u stab her between the boobs
Excellent Rendition of a most beautiful song. I have been trying to render my own version as well, yours has further inspired me. Thank you for sharing.
Ave, verum corpus natum de Maria Virgine, Vere passum immolatum in Cruce pro homine, Cujus latus perforatum unda* fluxit (et)* sanguine, Esto nobis praegustatum in mortis examine. Hail, true body born of the Virgin Mary, Who truly suffered, sacrificed on the Cross for man, Whose pierced side overflowed with water* and blood, Be for us a foretaste** In the test of death.
*SIGHHHHHHHHH* B) this song brings back so many memories! X'3 I sang this for varsity choir, this year. LOL. <3 but that was absolutely amazing! If i ever sing it and put it on youtube i'll video response it to you!!! <3
the tenor line... it's so important, and I didn't hear it; you can make it with your right hand.. some chords are of your own.. mm Mozart chords are better... with Mozart it's imposible to get any better... He is simply perfect

Loved your expressive playing. Sacred music shouldn't be rubato, though.

Tempo=bad. Its 4/4 time dude, with tons of quarter notes...its not meant to be interpreted, and its a straight tempo the whole piece.

I tried to sing over it and I couldn't you should keep your tempo but anyways is great and it said it was YOUR version (;

versione arrangiata dell'Ave Verum eseguita al pianoforte..
piacevole..tranne alcuni punti ..è una preghiera e quindi va "cantata" anche on il pianoforte..

Why no harmony with the melody in the Right hand? Tempo is OUT of control and all over the place.

Your expression is beautiful -- I think it could still
be softer and more subdued in some places for expression.
Keep it up!
voi2c 4 years ago 3
You're right about the need for a more soft and subdued tone in some places. It was hard to play anything less than mezzo-forte on this piano.
