Spinosaurus(up to 59ft) bigger than T-rex..but claimed not to be heavily built in muscles compared to T-rex (42ft)..in real fight match it cud be 50-50 depends on each other advantages..this would include another big predator as well, Giganotosaurus (47ft)...one to one fight, draw or lose could happen..size doesn't matter.
Horner thinks T Rex is a scavenger but is is easy to see even by the layman he is so wrong. And T-rex would have had Spino for lunch for a number of very apparent reasons. Horner believes Spino was more of a predator. He needs to take up sewing or get another field.

Rex was the most muscular of all the large theropods(even more so then the slender weaker spino), it was better built, was also the most intelligent of all the large thropods(far more), highly experienced at fighting large prey, built to kill, thick impact resisting head for massive headbutting impacts, thick hide and with steel bending jaws filled with 12in bone smashing, flesh ripping, impact resistance, armor piercing teeth.

Hey everybody! Both these dinosaurs can kick your ass, case closed. Personally I like both a whole lot. Oh and why did the Spino win in JP3? Because it was the antagonist, not the T-Rex, its called movie logic. The Spino was gonna win, why? The damn movie is about it! I'm pretty sure both these dinos would end up killing one another instead of their being an 'ultimate victor.' After all they could do some serious damage to one another, and not a lot of animals survive bad injuries.

Spinosaurus would have won, It's Heavy-weight body and it's long jaws gave it a head start. the t-rex was suited to scavenging not hunting. They only hunted in packs. Due to the territorial behavior of both carnivores, the fight will be long. But Spinosaurus had an advantage. They wouldn't fight in real life anyways. Tyrannosaurus lived in Oklahoma, Montana and Colardo. Spinosaurus lived in Morocco and Egypt.

I didn't understand how the spino Snapped the rex's neck like it broke a small tree branch, the neck muscles Alone in the neck of a Rex is enough to stop the spino. In the film the T- rex is only a juvenile the mother T-Rex from the first film is larger than the spino Speilberg himself said that and anyway T-Rex would win its like pitting a greyhound against a rotweiler T-Rex has a much more powerful skull and is very muscular and inteligent and also a bone crushing bite and is built to fight , Spino is more slender and lightly built and its more designed to catch fish and smaller dinos and its jaws have nothing on Rex

T-rex bites spino, spino kills t-rex, spino dies of infection... so both lose. But imo the t-rex was capable of killing the spino. And people: the t-rex was not always a scavenger, ok yea he often did feed on corpes but he was a predator as well.

Spinosaurus would have won, It's Heavy-weight body and it's long jaws gave it a head start. the t-rex was suited to scavenging not hunting. They only hunted in packs. Due to the territorial behavior of both carnivores, the fight will be long. But Spinosaurus had an advantage. They wouldn't fight in real life anyways. Tyrannosaurus lived in Oklahoma, Montana and Colardo. Spinosaurus lived in Morocco and Egypt.

@GreenassEngland Spino had no advantage over the T-Rex other than longer arms and a slight height advantage, T-Rex was a opportunist scaveging and hunting which is exactly what most animals who are carnivores do anyway, length of the jaws is no advantage since it and the teeth were designed for catching and eating fish and small dinos, its body fram was weaker than Rexes and the teeth and jaws of Rex were built to crush so one bite and Spino is out of it.

@exomega341 Spinosaurus was bigger, but it wasn't stronger. The creature in Jurassic Park III was a bit more heavily built than its real life counterpart and it somehow survived the rex's neck bite. So technically, T-Rex would have actually won since its jaws were actually strong enough to crush bone, nonetheless even kill Spinosaurus like it should have in the film...
No offense though, I like Spinosaurus as well, but facts are facts.

@exomega341 True, but Tyrannosaurus has been concluded to have had the strongest bite force of any dinosaur. 3 times stronger than the bite of a lion! So it wouldn't have mattered if Spinosaurus had powerful muscles on its neck, since it was a bigger, but lighter theropod and possibly more of a fish eater and scavenger than an actual predator. Then again, this is pure Hollywood and anything can happen in Hollywood xD

And at the part where the battle of the titans begins..Rex lost.. i was like...No...@&(##$ way....That kicked Ass!! When i got to be around 15 i looked up the spino, and i was amazed, i never knew such a dinosaur even existed. Imagine man...walking outside and people running away from this beast..i would shit bricks.. or try and Tame it ;)

I mean, imagine the Trex's jaws, they would crush something if they got a hold of it. but the thing could easily slip away from them since there's so much room between the jaws. But the spino's jaws like crocodile jaws...but...the size of a freaking human being, imagine how much GRIP those things would have! :o

I didn't understand how the spino Snapped the rex's neck like it broke a small tree branch, the neck muscles Alone in the neck of a Rex is enough to stop the spino. Don't get me wrong i love the spinosaurus, But the way he killed Rex was freaking lame. I loved it and hated it. They ruined it by not giving either dino's proper battle time, it only lasted 45 seconds. They wanted the spino alive for the sake of a new monster to watch out for in the film.

Spiny fans. Spiny is a FISH EATER. Can you see a FISH EATER. It's mouth was designed to to get a grip on fish. Go get a dinosaur book and find the spiny and it will say it FISH EATER. I don't think that the king of dinosaurs (trex) is a fish.Mitsubishi physically impossible for a spiny to kick trex off the throne. A trex could bend thick metal with them overpowered jaws. Don't you get spiny was a fish eater. Trex will always stay on the throne no matter what.

In the film the T- rex is only a juvenile the mother T-Rex from the first film is larger than the spino Speilberg himself said that and anyway T-Rex would win its like pitting a greyhound against a rotweiler T-Rex has a much more powerful skull and is very muscular and inteligent and also a bone crushing bite and is built to fight , Spino is more slender and lightly built and its more designed to catch fish and smaller dinos and its jaws have nothing on Rex
