This is actually probably the best serious acting Sly has ever done in any of the Rocky flicks. I hated Rocky V but this movie reminded me of the good writing that was done in Rocky 1 and 2. Hats off to you Sly. Good work.

This speech is so true...so many people want to point fingers at others because they themselves are not happy about where they are in life. But the truth is that everybody gets hurt and everybody goes through hardships in life. I feel like many people throw in the towel too early without knowing how much further they were capable of going.
You wouldn't really understand and feel the hit Rocky meant until you kept getting hit and move forward. This is what i'm going through for the past 2 years where i lost everything, my marriage, my family and all my money and status in life. This scene means a lot to me. This speech is so true...so many people want to point fingers at others because they themselves are not happy about where they are in life. But the truth is that everybody gets hurt and everybody goes through hardships in life. You wouldn't really understand and feel the hit Rocky meant until you kept getting hit and move forward. This is what i'm going through for the past 2 years where i lost everything, my marriage, my family and all my money and status in life. This scene means a lot to me.
