(ammy) the wolf's name is a girl and shiranui is the same wolf as ammy the long name for ammy is amertarasu. the japenise goddess (one of them) is called amertarsu and is the goddess of the sun and okami means wolf in japanise so thats why the games called okami kk? xxx

lol actually I just got cleared up that Okami is indeed a female. Took me awhile, I think if she's dubbed "Mother of all that is good", I'm pretty sure she's a girl. : )
