Everyone knows the end game for this window--to expose a captive audience to advertising and online retail. We will pay a monthly fee for the privilege, but the manufacturers will not use that revenue for better service, instead, the money will fund a turf war over licensing/content.

The concept is great, the people who created it should be proud. The second they hand it over to marketers, the window will be used to turn our kids into consumptive drones with mush for brains.

AHH, more needless technology, when i was a kid we were glad just to listen to music on the radio while in the car. I hate GM, they leased the EV1 in California from 1996 -99, when the lease was up they took the cars back and crushed them. Now they want to pretend they are heroes for offering the Volt for like 50,000 dollars. See the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car?" Well it was GM that killed it and now they want to bring back an inferior POS. This just sickens me.
