Haha YOU DO NOT NEED to throw a super bike engine in these trust me your stupid to even try it to heavy and to much power these are using v twin 2 stokre engines the 125s do 120mph and do 0-60 in 4 sec if you want the big toy you get a 250 160mph 0-60 in 2.9 sec they haul ass putting a sport bike engine with 3 times the power and weight would defeat the purpouse of a light shifter kart yes power would be far better but any racer know the lighter and bigger breaks you have the faster you can go

Most shifter carts I have seen, are capable of 0-60 times usually around the 4s, but some can get in the 3s. That's due to wheelspin in 1st when launching from a standstill, I'm pretty sure these can also get to 90 or even 100. I've driven one before, and the G-force is rediculous, never took it to high speeds though, my balls aren't made of steel.

@dpajc056 jusg put a 450f motor on it. thattle be more than enough, and the street motors are too heavy in my opinion, maby a dr650 motor, lots of power, in the heavy ass bike it does 120 on pavement, and e start is always nice

@yboben I just got one and im 14. If he knows about motors and shifting he will be fine. I have ridden dirtbikes for 7 years and picked up on the shifting quickly. Rotax karts are also fast and do not involve shifting if he does not want to deal with that. Birels are popular models but its more about what youre willing to spend. Mine was $1500 off craigslist with a stand, helmet and much more. It was bought new but only used 2 r 3 times. Its all bout the $ you're willing to spend
