Hi Aaron. I was wondering what mattebox you would recommend for the NEX-FS100. I just got one and am trying to build a rig. What sort of rail system and shoulder mount would you go for? I see you use berkeysystem equipment. Do you have any other suggestions or just them? I am interested in their plates and rails, what should I do for follow focus, mattebox, etc.
I will probably go with smallhd for monitor. How do you handle zoom?
That camera must do some crazy compression if it can fit nearly 3 hours of video on a 32 GB card. I have the Canon 7D and it can only fit about an hour and a half of video on a 32GB card. The video is good but the compression bothers me even at that rate. Oh well, still worlds better better than HDV.
@Pcenginefx Sony's own specs say that it gets 3 hours on a 32 GB card (24mbps). The best it can record is 28 mbps when doing 1080p at 60fps. That's actually lower than the 7D and even the 5D (which has more compression than the 7D). With 128 GB thingy attached you should get nearly 12 hours.
@shushko69 What the hell did you have on it? I've done up to 10hr shoots with mine and I'm fine (and this is without the shoulder rest as well). If you are having issues with ergonomics on longer shoots, you might want to look into some additional support options.

I own this camera and it has the worlds shittest hand held ergonomics, I did a 12 hour shoot yesterday and my wrist and back are destroyed
