  • brasileiro idiota. Num sabe de nada mesmo. Felizmente tem bastante brasileiro que realmente sabe o q tah rolando.

    Fica vendo Globo dah nisso....

  • Brazil is not a USA puppet, flunky or 'follower'..so why wouldn't Brazil host whoever the hell it wants to host?

  • Very true indeed, but I'm guessing that that arguement still won't stop the US from having its own ideas about how things should be done....

  • maybe its about reasons Brazil shouldn't want 2

A big disappointment from Lula. Not because I'd say he can't do it.

Not to mention if he was going 2 host such a tyrant without arresting him there he should have @ least done justice in standing up 2 Ahmadinejad, their Supreme Leader & regime.

I have nothing against Lula or Brazil..well maybe now I'm much less impressed. Not standing up to an oppresive leader such as Ahmadinejad & seeking 2 sell him uranium is very disappointing indeed.

  • The Bottom line is Brazil is an independent sovereign state, not a puppet of the USA's (or your or my personal) political pov.And as there are NO international binding arrest warrants for either leader-though u or i think their should well be-Lula was in his rights to host the President of Iran.

  • you're pretty small minded if you haven't understood.

Everybody understands its the right of a nation's leader to meet with whoever he wants. No shit.

What you don't seem to understand is that people can be disappointed by choices people make.

For instance. I am disappointed in Lula da Silva, Brazil's President, for meeting with Ahmadinejad and not standing up strongly to him on all the outrageous things he has said and done. To me thats repugnant.

  • yeah but you're crazy or dumb

  • No.. being a pro Zionist, pro fascist, pro white settler colonialist ..is crazy, dumb and shameful..but understandable for those that are invested in its injustice..I though don't support white supremacy in ANY form.

  • really? cuz you sound like you're jerking off to mein kampf in a white robe with a shaved head.

I'm not white nor do I care if you are. I'm also not a colonialist but you spout a rhetoric of a time where such terms didn't even exist.

  • O don't try 2 transfer your own private sexual proclivities onto someone else on the net...thats tired..."Dad er one' pro Zionist anti Palestinian oddball.

  • save your bullshit I bet you've never even been to gaza or the west bank to help a damn person. Quit pretending you care about anybody by regurgitating your anti-Israel and anti-Semitic slurs.

  • I am NOT anti semitic! How DARE you!..i am' anti right wing idiot'..i don't care what race, religion OR ethnic group that right wing proto fascist idiot is.And for the record,b4 'U go there' Ahmadinejad' is NOT my 'favorite' person either..but Brazil has a right to host either or both!

  • oh save the fake outrage. If you're so 'anti-right wing' then please tell me how you find yourself supporting the theocratic puppet government in Iran and its far right wing President. You seem to ignore that aspect of the equation which doesn't seem unbiased at all.

So please tell me, if you don't favor bashing Israel using anti-Semitic wording and trying to demonize me as a zionist? Making racial remarks? Only attacking Israel?

Please do explain. B4 I go there my ass. You went there.

  • and you're right Brazil can invite anybody they want. If you acknowledge that Ahmadinejad isn't your favorite person then you should have no problem with me and many others expressing disappointment in his decision.

More than disappointment in his decision is my own personal disappointment that he didn't take a stand and speak out to Ahmadinejad with force and strength on issues that can not and should not be ignored.

Its not even a matter of left or right anyways. Save it.

  • O save me the 'self righteous' drivel dripping from your fingers as you post! You are a stalking horse for pro Zionist right wing Israeli politics..

  • ...'a' position..

  • NOT 'the' position..

  • ..of SOME Jews & supporters of Israel..

  • but NOT all..so DON"T try it with ME,daderone,sweety!

  • your posts are starting to make less and less sense.

As far as my ideology and you trying to pigeon hole me so that you can easily discard my opinion goes I think I can decide myself what I do and do not support.

I'm actually a center left political science student and certainly I support Israel and that does not make me anti-anything. It does make me pro-peace, it is representative of my belief in democracy and freedom.

If I voted in Israel I'd have voted for Ehud Barak actually.

  • Well voting for Barak would show you may have some redeemable features

  • I also view Shimon Peres as a role model for leaders across the world and genuine treasure in a man with a heart of gold and great wisdom.

I also voted and volunteered for John Edwards in the Democratic Primary and for Barack Obama...who I at the time wanted as Vice President.

I also opposed the War in Iraq and protested in the streets against Bush. But what does that matter to you. I've also been to the region and volunteered on both sides. What have you done to make this world better?

  • And if what you are saying here is true, than you have even MORE redeemable features than were initially apparent by your regrettably retrogressively one sided comment about Brazilian diplomatic protocol..

  • yeah yeah..great i have the approval of the asshole who was a moment ago trying to dismiss me. Whooptie doo.

Now answer the question. What have you ever done to promote peace on either side? I myself have been working for it my entire life.

Frankly I've yet to realize what is redeemable from your side of this conversation.

Ahmadinejad is a radical right wing theocratic fundamentalists who incites violence, denies the holocaust & calls for the destruction of Israel. Yet u condone this.

  • Nope.I don't condone 'holocaust denial' whether done by Fascist OR Zionist.

  • I've never heard a zionist deny the holocaust actually but ok.I don't accept it from anybody much less from a leader who threatens simultaneously to wipe Israel off the map. Much less am I naive enough to think this same leader has peaceful intentions toward producing a nuclear program while launching long range missiles.

  • There are more than one 'holocaust' among humans. And it is the duty of those who know & care to try & prevent them from happening..or continuing.

  • And i've marched & worked for peace in a variety of organizations, but ,no ,i have not been to either Palestine or Israel, yet.I commend those that do & have financially supported them.

  • have you ever marched for hanging homosexuals in the street or stoning women to death?

no i doubt you do support these things. Its bullshit Lula didn't speak out against this. Its bullshit to me as a center left student of poly sci and int'l relations.

Sorry I believe in certain things and think this was more about selling uranium to a country that funds the largest portion of terror in the region. Sorry thats bs too.

  • Yes,& violence againts woman & sexual nonconformist is not limited to Iran.

  • so tell me. Do you think Muslim women have more freedom in Israel or any other country in the region? Can you name another country in the region where they have allowed gay pride parades?

    Just wondering.

  • Lebanon.

  • lmao Lebanon, its a crime to be homosexual in Lebanon. Not like that matters, you have to be of a certain race and religion to even run for office there.

Not to mention that they raid gay clubs and arrest people for sodomy.

  • Its also a crime to be homosexual in certain states & municipalities in the USA & they have gay rights marches in those places as well.

  • and if I asked you to name the most homosexual friendly states/municipalities in the USA I'm sure those states/municipalities wouldn't be on your list.

  • As for civil liberties for women:Turkey.

  • as for turkey it may be comparable and should be noted for recognizing equality and women.

I would say that the women in Turkey still face a much higher disproportionate gap in education, government and job opportunities.
