Tradition

Religion, and

Homophobia.

It's NONE of ANYONE'S business who someone chooses to marry/fall in love with. People just like to stick their noses into gay peoples' sexual life and whine and bitch over it because "It's not normal" Well guess what? "It's none of your BUSINESS" It's not like you're standing there watching them have sex, you don't even KNOW the people you're blindly accusing.

nobody's forcing gays to deny their attractions or raiding gay marriages in churches. gays can freely express their feelings of love in a church and get all the benefits that come with marriage through civil unions down the future. however, as soon as you step outside the private realm of RELIGIOUS marriage and enter into the public sphere of CIVIL marriage, you are subject to the law and public opinion or vote because civil marriage is about public policy.

@10duderordude Omg i know. Yeah, it is in the Bible that you should marry a woman if your're a man, and marry a woman if you're a woman. But come on, when two people are in love, they're in love, and that shouldn't change anything about the way they feel to each other. They loe the person for who they are, not for the gender.
