  • i remember buying this movie when i was learning Italian

  • ((

  • Malena was attacked because she slept with the enemy, all other points I'm reading have validity and are certainly all a part of why she was attacked but the women felt justified with their hatred by using this as an excuse - truly disgusting as Malena was just trying to survive and even more sadly there were many women who really did experience all of what Malena went through ... stay on youtube long enough and you will find their equivalent ... *walks way in disgust*

  • I (as a man) , literally wanted to jump into the movie and SAVE HER and punch those self righteous women in their face!!

  • how the hell could they do that to her and why didn't anyone step forth to help her?

  • Monica Bellucci's finest hour.

  • not even one man decided to help her, :'(

  • What the hell? Let her alone.

  • BEAUTIEST WOMAN ALIVE

  • oh see has the perfect tits

  • Czy we Włoszech nadal tak jest, że mężczyźni korzystają z usług prostytutek, a ich żony przymykają na to oczy i idą z mężem niedzielę do kościoła?

  • this movie just showed how gossip overwhemingly triumphs over truth. from the very beginning, malena was judged merely by her looks and rumors spread like wildfire from insecure jealous broads and horny men. beauty truly was her curse, and at the end where she got beat up, i literally wanted to jump into the movie and save her and beat those other bitches up.

  • She is known by everyone, yet so lonely. Sad. I believe almost every society is patriarchial. Still, I don't think that is the reason why the woman mistreat her. Women saw her as a threaten. And they are able to see her as an object because they have no connection with her. They are meaner than men; Men just think with their dick sometimes, but you know it.

  • Mujeres envidiosas de mierda, qué asco dan

  • Just what I'd expect from the savages we call 'Christians'. Goddamn slaves.

Still, glad Mon (that's 'Monica' to you lot) thinks she's an 'artist'; means she does shitty movies like this so I can get my wank on over scenes like this. If only those hags had raped her, I could have ended on this scene instead of just getting warmed up over it. Oh well, there's always Irreversible.

    Laterz haterz!

  • 00:50 bull shit

  • @ahmadlebanon1 yes, obviously the woman getting beaten up, is the woman that's getting beaten up.... And that''s because all the other woman were always jealous of her, talking shit and stuff.... You got to think outside the box the next time you watch a movie dude

  • i really didnt understand was she the women being beaten up and if yes why?

  • 6:00 & 6:44... oh my god!!!!

  • ive seen the whole movie, very good but only i was expected to see a more attractive woman more breathtakin, more beautiful insted of monica bellucci.. i dont know, the movie has lost his credibility, i was a bit disapointed, i mean honestly, if a normal woman is walking down the street, i dont thk everybody would just stop to breath or smthg, its really exagered.

    i apologize for my english..

  • @simbakingston it's quite a hard work to find an actress whom everyone consider to be beautiful, but Bellucci fits good to that World War II. era of natural beauty, curves and (because of the war) sad melancholic faces....

  • @simbakingston In Italy it is. I've been there on Erasmus for half a year and I can tell you even police officers came out of their office to literally put their phone numbers in my hands.

  • @boterhampate Dici sul serio?Mi sembra alquanto improbabile...

  • @Marzikejinko I swear!:-) Non credo che hanno esagerato nel film, molti uomini, inveche, esagerano in realta

  • This movie broaches the issue of something almost unbelieveable (but real): there is a point where beauty becomes an imposition. On an attractivity ranking from one to ten, Monica Bellucci is an eleven.

  • The sad thing is, if Malena walked the streets of my city (Santiago, Chile) today, still every man would undress her with their eyes thinking how to get her into their beds.

  • @rdpcl not only in your city, men are the same all around the world!

  • @rdpcl That's because women in Chile look like Primitive Apes..that's how Native South Americans look like.. Malena is Caucasian European and looks a lot more sophisticated...

  • @rdpcl why is that sad? that's normal

  • i love the way how she looks to the gossiping crowd and the way she turns her eyes away from them....

  • Actually, here's how I see it - Malena is treated so poorly not because she is an attractive woman (which she is, by the way) but because she is a woman living in a misogynistic, patriarchial society. Such a society not only views women (such as Malena) as mere sex objects, but also encourages women to think of themselves as such. This is why the other women mistreat her - because they see her as an object rather than a person.

  • this is one of the saddest movies ever.i cried for ages after watching it.

  • i wanna take a gun and put it in the ass of all the ''ladies''!

  • life must be hard on ugly women

  • that was sad and no one even helped.

  • @topmodeldiva82 Thats the same feeling i had :( i was so mad at them :/

  • Thats horrible how those selfish ugly women hit her!

  • epic movie
