  • lol - 3 mins for a SINGLE train

  • about 3 mins just for that to come past lmao

  • Before leaving Willenhall in 1966 we had been living in a charity owned bungalow on the corner of Beech Road and Noose lane. This bungalow still has the flagstoned front garden with the flower beds that the council used to keep spick and span.

The level crossing was wooden gates then and there was a signalbox to the right of where the camera stopped in this film. The signalman operated the gates using a large wheel and also controlled locks on the pedestrian gates.

  • Hi ,The Crossing is at Noose lane Willenhall , Walsall , offically but some people will say its wolverhampton, wednesfield , as the border is so close . Its easy to find if you travel out of Wolverhampton along the

A454 onto the Willenhall Rd you eventually you come to a jct where there is a public house to the left called The neachells , proceed along the A454 passing a BP garage and turn 1st left , this is Noose Lane as you turn left you will see the level crossing in front of you.
