Im not sure, but the beat sounds like something I've heard before...Dont know which band or song. Or even if its just a made bass riff, it sounds familiar...
I had this bass for a few weeks but had to return it for financial reasons. This bass rules. I'm buying another one. It's so easy to play, I can rip on this thing.
:L i've got a fender jazz and i'm just about to get a gibson sg bass, i love them both. their too different to compare i'd say. thats what i like about the gibson, an absolutely different sound
that is bullshit. gibson sg basses are amazing, i wish they were still made. esp and epiphone both make copies. the epiphone is just as good as the gibson one.
i'd go eb-3, it has two pick-ups and the eb-o just looks empty missing that bottom one, it's like a face without a mouth kinda :L and the eb-3's are usually on a smaller scale, makes alot of things easier
hey just wondering i heard that the sg bass doesnt sound to good is that true??? my friends say it doenst anyway im a guitar player but maybe also learning bass
I just got one of these yesterday, I wanted a cheap bass, I started with a $100 dean, then tried this one (I wanted the EB-3, but it wasn't in stock and costs $100 more) but I played it and it felt awesome. I thought it would be weird being a short scale, but it's really an awesome bass. I feel like it allows more dexterity and quick movement.
I like the sound of fingerpicking better than the pick sounds, but maybe thats cause im mostly into reggae and old ska stuff. guess it really depends on the sound you wanna get, so just go about play w/e you like...
Yea,this vid was before I had it adjusted,It don't buzz no more.Took a while to adjut the truss rod becasue it was seized.Had to put little penetrating oil on it and let it set, then I was finally able to adjust the fret buzz, and no more fret buzz since.
I got rid of the fret buzz since this video. Truss rod was seized and was afraid to try and turn it for quite a while. Finally I put little penetrating oil on it and let it set overnight, and next day was able to adjust it ok.Alot better now
Yep.Just lossened it maybe half a turn and now fret buzz is totally gone.Took me a while but now I can set up and adjust all my guitars myself.I would not want to mess with a flaoting bridge /whammy bar guitar ,but your standard stop tail piece guitar I got figured out
youve tried eb0 too right? does this one as neck heavy as the eb0? I love that short scale feel cuz I play bass and do lead vocals in by band, it was just too heavy to play shoes with. I wanted to pick one of these up but was too unsure so went for an epi tbird. still very interested though
Yes,I tried the eb3 and this bass eb0 the same day.I liked the feel and believe or not,I actually preferred the tone on the EB-O over the EB3.So I picked this one up.I had to do alot of messing to finally get it set up nice to be free of fret buzz. This video is before I got it set up nice. Now that I got it set up nice,it plays beatiful and sounds great. Its really a great deal for the price.I think this EB-O is little less neck heavy than the EB3.
Good question, and I think thats basically just personal preference. I tried both of them out the day I bout the eb-o and bought the eb-o ,not because is was little less money ,but because I liked the way it felt and played better. The eb-3 has the longer scal neck, but also has an additional pickup.I'd say try both out,see what you like better. You might like one better than the other for your own reasons.
i just orderd a eb-0. but i was a little insecure aboutthe sound but when i hear this i just want it right away=) sounds great! and nice playing! and its just fine to use a pick, im playing in a band and i too use a pick! rock on!
I adjusted it since this vid.Got rid of the fret buzz.I too like a pick.I believe in playing whatever you like the way you like it regardless of what the norm is or others think
You know I really don't mind the percusive sound you mention either.Alot of people say do not use a pick on a bass, but I'm mainly a guitar player and thats what I am used to and I think it sounds fine
Very good song choices for the bass! NIB sounded great! Money was pretty good too, never thought it would go so well on an EB-0. The other songs I know that I know them, but it's not coming back lol
But it all sounded great! Keep rockin my fellow bassist!
also dude good playing i dont got a sg bass not yet i got a silvertone pretty good but id like a epiphone esp bass but im just starting out so my silvertone will do and your sg bass looks alot like a gibson version and what kind of amp your using how much???
I have the same one, only in black. It looks as cool as this one, and as it's from a Gibson division (epiphone) i guess it's really worth it, at least for a begginer like me.
