Am I the only one who manage to find problems with this game the first one didn't have? Like, you're not really sure when you can use this and that to control certain things. Also, I did not like how you start powerful and then gets all the powers stolen from you. Not to mention, I felt bored by the beginning of the game. Like the game a lot; but I think the first GoW is better.

he was a spartan but then this dick named Area's (God of War) told Kratos ill give you these powers to become powerful and kill this one hilbillie barbarion. so he did kill him but then the powers started to controll Kratos into killing his Hot wife and his annoying fucking kid. so in the first god of war he kills areas and gets revenge which then makes kratos the new god of war but then in this one Zues pisses Kratos off by calling him pale and stuff and it takes kratos 2 games to kill Zues.

Im not sure tbh) warns him not to enter a certain villiage.

Honestly this game was extremely overhyped. The story is great but it's just too horribly paced and no one is developed, the puzzles are WAY too frequent and they're more annoying and boring than they are clever and fun. However, the visuals (both in-game and CG) are great, even now, the atmosphere is great, the soundtrack and voice acting is fantastic, and the combat is okay.

I can't decide what the greatest game of all time is. This or GoW3. Only flaws - Barbarian Hammer and the Lance of Destiny don't handle as well as the Blade of Artemis from GoW1 plus Atlas Quake isn't as good as Army of Hades and Ares is a harder boss than Zues. But if you have to compare it another game in the same series to make it look bad it must be damn near perfect.

actually this might suprise you but this games graphics are the same as the 360's. PS2 actually has the same graphic engine as the 360 but they never use the full power of it. I'm serious if you play this game the graphics are just stunning for PS2.
