You're thinking of the high output version of the LS1 which is the LS6. The LS2 is the 6.0 liter LS block which is 366 cubic inches. Ironically, GM only made that block for such a short time before ditching it for the 378 cubic inch LS3.

a Mach 1 is a DOHC 4.6 with a super charger at the most the car has 450 HP and the Camaro with 402 equals a 6.6L that has way over 500 with nitrous enough said thats sad it takes so much to out run a little 4.6
@Kulapse shit, did you watch the last run without spray? In the qtr. that stang is only going to beat the camaro (wo spray) by a 1 to 2 tenths and then maybe not at all since the camaro has a built auto... the mustang would have to launch just right etc. I'd say from a dig the camaro would get out on the mustang enough that it couldn't be made up before the end of the track.. that's what I think anyway from my experiences.

Doing it the old way. That is back in the day before centrifugal superchargers and fancy turbo kits. Yes nitrous is legit.....it's just not infinite. So don't bitch. He killed that sorry slow Mustang 2 times in a row and then on the mercy round, without nitrous, and giving the Mustang a 2 car lead, the Mustang barely stayed ahead. @mustang372003 all opinion to me, but remember, the 5.0 has alot more done to it than the ls3, better headers, less restricted exhaust, and other bits, i love chevy, my opinion, and i cant wait till get a z06. and i love the sound of a LS motor. to me nothing can touch it, and yes it is kinda hard to see out of it but for some reason i like the interior alot, main thing wrong with the camaro is it needs better gears and its too heavy, other than that its great

a Mach 1 is a DOHC 4.6 with a super charger at the most the car has 450 HP and the Camaro with 402 equals a 6.6L that has way over 500 with nitrous enough said thats sad it takes so much to out run a little 4.6

In the qtr. that stang is only going to beat the camaro (wo spray) by a 1 to 2 tenths and then maybe not at all since the camaro has a built auto... the mustang would have to launch just right etc. I'd say from a dig the camaro would get out on the mustang enough that it couldn't be made up before the end of the track.. that's what I think anyway from my experiences.

Good video and both are fast street cars. Remember the Mach1 has a 281 ci motor but is pretty stout. It's hard to be cubic inches. The LS2 is a 364 ci motor and with a 200 shot is sick. Both cars are very nice and cool video man. Oh and Mach1's don't come with a super charger from the factory, they are N/A from the factory.

Doing it the old way. That is back in the day before centrifugal superchargers and fancy turbo kits. Yes nitrous is legit.....it's just not infinite. So don't bitch. He killed that sorry slow Mustang 2 times in a row and then on the mercy round, without nitrous, and giving the Mustang a 2 car lead, the Mustang barely stayed ahead. This is a common occurrence at the local strips and on the streets. There may not be as many Camaro's as Mustang's on the road but the chevy guys know where to start

@IxOVERKILLxI the plans for the 5.0 were already set like 5-6 years ago actually, same with fords new 6.2L. they might not have released it in 2011 if it werent for the maro but it was still planned

@mustang372003 all opinion to me, but remember, the 5.0 has alot more done to it than the ls3, better headers, less restricted exhaust, and other bits, i love chevy, my opinion, and i cant wait till get a z06. and i love the sound of a LS motor. to me nothing can touch it, and yes it is kinda hard to see out of it but for some reason i like the interior alot, main thing wrong with the camaro is it needs better gears and its too heavy, other than that its great

If i was in to mustangs I would be sad...lol....But thats what you get using 5.0, if I had a mustang I would've droped a 351 or 427 in it or even Maybe the 429jet, but why does ford never do this...well because there fuckin pussies.
