Yes it is a semi tone FAST ,  should be able to be adjusted , but what a GREAT item .

Neato!  But there had better be a speed adjustment knob in that thing because, as it stands, that Elvis tune was playing wayy too fast...

I have listened the video on the both sides of that Elvis record, the pitch seems to correct and plays very well! If it's correct for one side of a record, usually it's correct for the entire device because it's the common turntable (motor and gear) for the two sides of the record. Perhaps some worn parts can make an intermittant abnormal pitch (too fast or too slow)! I notice the straps on that mechanism and this can cause some irregular pitch if one of these straps are worn!

This thing is as old as me......pretty cool.....unimaginable to kids today
