Some of the best teachers I've had were also extremely stringent. Like everyone else, I never liked being yelled at but many years later I've realized they actually taught me something. You must be resilient, thick-skinned, willing to try again after failing, persistent, and doing it right the first time. The teacher in the video at least seems kind at times.
