You're right when you say that this affects me, but it's not because I'm into mainstream music. I listen to various genres (including punk rock, metalcore etc) It's just a pity that nowadays it seems like everybody can become a 'musicican', and that these musicians aren't seem to be doing it for the music anymore, but for the fame and fortune only.

I knew Sonny Moore as the lead singer of FFTL, I used to listen to them in junior high. When I heard about Skrillex and saw him I knew there was something familiar about him. I'm glad that after he lost his voice, he didn't let it drag him down. He was an amazing lead singer of FFTL and now he's an amazing DJ.
