  • Great video!!!!

  • Hawking also finally admitted that some of his past theories were proven incorrect...so shall also be with his non-thoughts of God. I'm tired of all the kiddie's worshiping his every thought as if were fact.

  • wah-woh, wrong.

  • I knew you were a Christian haha

  • Stephan Hawkings is a pop culture icon, He is a great scientist, but he is not some guru, or god to look up to. Even the best can make foolish makes, such as some of Stephan Hawkings' works.

  • Your videos are very informative and entertaining. I wish you had time to make more of them! Thanks for putting this up!

  • Dude... Science is based on what we can observe, the biggest truth. Practically anyone can imagine things and make someone else believe them, even make them go to extremism. Scientists never make assumptions based on imagination, but on what is already observed. Religion is not based on observation but imagination or false assumptions which have originated from someones imagination.

  • @acin9955 By your standard The Grand Design is a religious book for atheists. No one observed the creation of the universe. It takes a lot more fantasy imagination and blind faith to believe the universe created itself from nothing... It can't exist before it existed to create itself and from nothing nothing comes. I don't know how any reasonable person can accept such contradictory nonsense especially a scientist.

  • @LogosApologia Tracking the creation of the universe back to a singularity, before which nothing existed(as far as we know), is still far more reasonable than believing that an invisible supreme being created something from nothing. It's easy to just claim that "god" did it, for things we dont understand. The pursuit of truth and discovery is much harder, but far more rewarding.

  • @acin9955 If you observe truth, you must have superpowers. The rest of us observe sounds, shapes, colors and other non-propositional sensations. "Scientists" make tons of assumptions to form hypotheses to explian what they observe. If "science" is TRUTH, why does it keep changing it's "facts" as time goes on? Some religion, at least, claims to be based on revelation from the Maker. You confuse sensation with knowledge, and pretend to be above the need for creative conjecture. Sophomoric.

  • Thanks for this. In my opinion, we need spiritual science. May be, Rudolf Steiner's research and theosophy was a first step

  • @skiados7 Theosophy is satanic, they actually teach that the serpent in the garden was the good one. Beware!

  • lol Oh! how I love this video. Had to favorite this one for sure. Great job. Please keep up the work. Also subbing. ;o)

  • Again we see the enemy at work with the foolishness of his thinking and for those who are reading his book take it to heart and the light of their souls flickers to nothing.

Thanks Logos I would like to read A. Tozers book

  • I am real sorry that I gave this a thumbs up before I realy got into it., The so called scientist are ignoring the clues and monoliths and the summeriaan scrips about what they saw as gods, W e were creared and taught to worship our creator, Wheather he was god or not has little to do with what or how we were created from Cromagnon.

  • from this video's description: "The laws of logic make the conclusion that he indeed has unavoidable." ???

  • 1.-intelligent design is true

2.-teism, deism, panteism, panenteism, pandenism rely on intelligent design.

3.-intelligent design doesn't make true any holy book or creed.

4.-intelligent design could be by evolution

5.- ID requires a designer, that designer requires another designer and so on.

6.- I dont believe in all what science says, i don't believe in theism at all.

7.- I just accept we can't reach the answer of why the existance exists.

my knowledge and particular point of view.

  • You, sir, are misguided. I feel for you. Why?

    For:

    a: believing this

b: believing it enough to preach it to others

c: being offended that creationism is not/will not be taught

d: presenting this as fact. It is not, plain and simple. Everything in science that ever becomes proven has undergone a serious amount of scrutiny. Before a theory is proven, there are often many competing explanations. Scientists proven incorrect will be darned right sure that their theory was fairly dismissed.

  • This was embaressing.

He didn't say he killed religion, he said theology is useless because no longer can you dumb asses say "there is no other way! theres no other explanation!"

Now we know there is and have the math to prove it. Checkmate, theists. Denying the problem and straw manning it does nothing for you.

Please, also prove naturalistic materialism wrong (and let me know how that goes for you).

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

    nothing is nothing nuff said

  • @JAMRAND You haven't forgotten to look both ways before crossing a street yet? I'm shocked, JAM.

  • I'd like to see the mathematical argument he used to come to this conclusion..

  • You really do sound like a Muppet... O.o

  • Its amazing how people as intellectually advanced as Hawking can become so foolish in the futility of their thinking as we read in Romans one. I'll be doing a review soon of 'The Grand Design' and would like to hear your comments on it!

  • @evangelical1 Sure bro, make sure you take a look at Greg Koukl's analysis over at Stand to Reason, look at the Soiid Ground back issues. He points out several ways Hawking commits suicide with his thinking.

  • @LogosApologia Backward theists. Please back away silently for your own sake. It's starting to get embarassing now.

  • If Stephen Hawking is refused the prerogative to posit spontaneous creation, why does the theist have the prerogative to posit a God who is both immutable and creates? It seems inscrutable that a God who is immutable goes from not-creating to creating.

Even if one allows for God to change, what was the cause of God going from not-creating to creating? If the theist says there was no cause, how is that significantly different from what Hawking posits? Both seem committed to spontaneity.

  • @Memory0fDeath . "spontaneous creation" -- why should this occur anyway? Can nothing create something which becomes everything?

"immutable" -- is consciousness the product of protein or is protein the product of consciousness?

"what was the cause of God going from not-creating to creating?" -- what does the Bible tell us about this?

  • "the bearers of the torch" ( 01:14 ). This is not science, or anything else except Luciferian doctrine.

  • I always look forward to your videos, Chris, for good reason!

  • @BreshiBaraElohim Thank you!

  • "Secularism, materialism and the intrusive presence of things have put out the light in our souls and turned us into a generation of zombies."

There you are -- sounds as though part of the agenda of the Illuminati / Protocols of Zion have been successfully carried out. Don't mention Sodium Fluoride!

  • All scientists seem to forget that their mathematical model of the Universe is nothing more than that -- a model.

  • The supernatural space chicken created the universe. Science can't rule out this possibility.

  • Hawkins uses suggestive speech that is of satan

  • @migxp1 . Perhaps if Hawking didn't make such antichristian claims, the Illuminati would kill him. Let's face it, genocide is their first love.

  • @IlluminatiSatanists I think he changed what he said before, its now suggestive as if what he thinks really matters or something.

  • Too bad that after Hawkins has spent most of his life in the prison of a body that won't work, will ultimately find himself in a new body(at the resurrection) that will only be limited to pain and anguish.

  • Wonderful work. thank you!

  • All that Clucking means that chicken laid one very Big Egg.

Stevie's problem is his intelligence and knowledge makes him think he has No need for God.

He could Not be More Wrong!!

  • Atheists have had their Brains Perverted by Propaganda in Crappy public education.

Twilight Zone, where All Atheists Live!

They Make it Up as they go Along!

They Drink a Scientific Elixir, but when they get to the Bottom of the Cup, GOD is Waiting for Them!!

  • It is remarkable how ignorant most scientists are of basic philosophy and logic.

  • Hawkins have you looked at him just the other day ?

He is in a wheel chair he got there by what he wrote in his # 1 Book !

God said Thow shall have No other God's before me !

God is the reasno Hawkins is in the wheel chair !

  • I against religion as much as anyone else - but they're not applying that word right.

Science only tells us how the world functions - and the Bible upholds Science TWICE in the Bible.

  • wtf!! this guy has a lisp!

  • Philosophy is not dead nor will it ever be. Philosophy includes moral laws, political ideas, and other ideas. To refute Philosophy would destroy science itself, since some philosophies state that science is a way of thinking not just a body of knowledge. Stephen Hawking used to be great, but lately he has gone down a little bit in my opinion. Mass cannot be created NOR deystroyed, and if he was right about creation, there would be unlimited mass showin as well a breaking of many scientific laws.

  • Hawkins use to believe in God . I think he just decided He doesn't exist because God did not cure him. In his mind how could there be a loving god that let him suffer so? Sad. I like his work for the most part.

  • @hellavadeal He has a very different and much more painful condition than me, although I too have a handicap. I am seriously vison impaired. It is something that will always be with me, and make my life extremely difficult. I just always remember the verse "My grace is sufficient for thee" and the one that reads "for you cannot imagine the joy I have laid up for you". His will be done!

  • I have always hated the word SUPER-natural. It's like the word 'faith', it's just too limiting to describe the 'unseen'

  • You sound like a muppet from sesame strret.

  • @BitchinRidge awesome that is exactly what I was going for.

  • @LogosApologia In that case, well done. Oh and I agree with and liked your video.

  • @BitchinRidge *LOL - well I just try to change my voice when I am reading the quotes to distinguish it as "not my words" I always end up doing some sort of weird snooty English voice by default (probably from Dawkins). I'm glad you liked it.

  • @LogosApologia lol!!

  • Hawking's own "model-dependent realism" is just dressed up instrumentalism, which is a philosophical position.

  • @legodesi not to mention that he is a scientific determinist. But if scientific determinism is true then he really has no reason to write books trying to teach and convince people of his positions. He might as well sit in the corner singing "la la la" to himself as it will have as much consequence as his most brilliant scientific discoveries.

  • I am amazed that geniuses are so stupid. Brother, than you for another great video.

  • @sincitypreacher - Not stupid. Foolish. He has spent a lot of time developing his knowledge, but not his wisdom.

  • It is amazing that these supposed great thinkers all make the most elementary mistakes when arriving at their conclusions .
