Pretty rough indictment of Nutt's recruiting when there wasn't enough talent left from his teams to keep 17 freshmen off the field last year. Even then, Ole Miss needed two blown calls to escape with a narrow win with the best team they've had in years and likely will have.
It is possible Nutt does a better job at Ole Miss than he did at Arkansas. You better hope he does. Arkansas's first season under Nutt was great, too. Pretty steady decline after that until Malzahn helped bail him out.

Nutt's 2nd year, two more for Coach O's players. I'll take the rebuilding we're having over starting #4 in the country, predicted SEC W winner, BCS predicted bowl, then completely out of the top 25, no title, no BCS. SEC Website stated at the beginning of the year Ole Miss, had more NFL prospects than any other SEC Team. When we land on our feet and we will, we'll go back to beating Ole Miss, we've done it for years, and we won't be just satisfied with JUST that. Nutt's goal is just to beat AR.

Those accolades have to come with a #4 BCS ranking somewhere. Congrats on this years win against us. Nutt might beat us no matter how good we are every year, then he'll lose to Vandy or Miss State. He took us on that rollercoaster. Wait till he thinks he's entitled, that's when he stops working hard. It will be interesting to see if Nutt has a let down this weekend. Good Luck.

Nutt's not a bad recruiter, he just sucks at play calling and is a bad coach. There's no way that arkansas shouldn't have made it to a natl. champ. We had a champion qb, USC's current best reciever, not to mention the best run game in a long ass time. What's the result? loss in the cotton bowl. This year??? miss loses to 'bama, who hasn't, but also to south car.? can i say overrated? Petrino lost to 'bama too, but i promise we will beat ole miss or i will eat my words with some salt on them.

Pretty rough indictment of Nutt's recruiting when there wasn't enough talent left from his teams to keep 17 freshmen off the field last year. Even then, Ole Miss needed two blown calls to escape with a narrow win with the best team they've had in years and likely will have.
It is possible Nutt does a better job at Ole Miss than he did at Arkansas. You better hope he does. Arkansas's first season under Nutt was great, too. Pretty steady decline after that until Malzahn helped bail him out.

Ole Miss winning the West remains to be seen. The point about Orgeron's recruits is valid, and it won't be his team until then. Arkansas aside, you still have VERY good teams in LSU, Bama and Auburn to compter with in that division. Good luck though, the whole SEC has kind of fallen down a bit.
