"This is why I use FedEx". Lol!!! Fed Ex has been transporting large amounts of mail on their planes for years, so there's a good chance if you send/receive any mail that travels by air, chances are good FedEx carried it.
Yes, the business environment has changed for the USPS. But, you have to adapt. The Postal Service still has a monopoly on letters, that is huge. I think the USPS lost almost 5 billion in 2009, this is insane. Get with the times, do the following: Go to 401k or IRA'S-defined contribution plans, not defined benefits. Do like everyone else, get rid of the BS retiree health care obligation. Congress needs to let the Usps have more flexibilty in pricing, less losses on mail, price mail for profit.
The post office is better than UPS any day at least in Chicago. UPS has left at least 10 packages to be stolen in front of my building and they keep doing it no matter how many calls I make. Also if I want to pick it up I have to drive 1 hour verses 10 min to my post office.
I sent a few hundred pounds through USPS during my last move with no problems. Just make sure you use signature required/confirmation and have insurance on big ticket items. I would never ship a heavy PC monitor, or TV. I had no problem shipping my desktop PC without monitor
For starters, that is not a USPS employee mishandling that package. Second, how do you know that is even a USPS mailpiece? it is being loaded with regular baggage!
Oh god--I just printed out postage labels about 15 minutes ago for items to be shipped by USPS. It's clothes, though, so they should be fine, right? Right?
Postal Reform happened back in 1974, Nixon (he was one of America's Presidents) wrote new laws about tax money and the United States Postal Service. Not a penny of your tax money goes to the Postal Service, none has in well over 30 years... Anyway, these idiots work for the airline, not USPS.
dam im ment to be reciving my iphone with them and its already been longer than they said it would take :O wonder if that nob had anything to do with it,
did you know that fed ex uses airlines too???? but have you ever seen how fed ex treats your packages? i used to be a pilot at Fed Ex and they throw your packages around. USPS also uses Fedex to ship mail.
crispy ed i dont know how you pulled those hubs out of your ass i mean you forgot PHL and CLT and focus cities like LGA and PIT come on man know your shit before you talk and btw las vegas doesnt have a hub and us airways sure isnt it
This is called a "failure to protect" violation, and it can cost the airline thousands of dollars. SFO is a field station for US Airways, but at the hubs in PHX and LAS you would not see this because Postal Inspectors patrol the ramp. A single bag, case, or package that falls to the ground can be a fine of hundreds of dollars...
Actually, PHX was the main hub for HP and LAS was the secondary; in fact, they still are since the certificates for US and HP aren't officially merged. I mentioned LAS and PHX because as a West ramper I don't know what the exact procedures are...
...for PHL and CLT. It's funny that you reply to this now because just last night my team and I loaded 3000 lbs of mail on our last turn going to LAX. I'll probably be loading more cargo and mail tonight. So you're right, what would I know about any of this...
noticed that the employees were not usps. They are airline workers. They do the same to all items ie your luggage as well. Maybe you gay bastards would make an effort to complain to the airline company this shit would stop instead of blaming someone that wasnt the cause. Oh i forgot, you lost your balls
If anyone thinks every single USPS, UPS or FedEx employee cares about your packages you are dead wrong. Yes, a solid MAJORITY of postal workers do take care but there will always be the baseball wannabe jackass.
USPS website online postage are SUCK, always down and can't print and some more they charge my money and need to wait very long to get it back!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha I still can't believe we saw this. And to think the reason we busted out the camera in the first place cuz he was beating the crap out of those two packages earlier
"This is why I use FedEx". Lol!!! Fed Ex has been transporting large amounts of mail on their planes for years, so there's a good chance if you send/receive any mail that travels by air, chances are good FedEx carried it.

That's your tax dollars at work!
rudyiking 4 years ago
the USPS doesn't receive ANY money from taxpayers. the only money the postal service receives is when you buy postage. it's a new dawn, a new era.
alcmtr 4 years ago 13
the airlines hire the ground employees, therefore, they pay them. not your tax dollars.
