all the lucidas sound very nice, i wonder why it is theyre so overlooked. perhaps theyre new? or maybe because the dont have fancy cocobolo binding... ive seen some terrible instruments priced at three and four thousand dollars... but they had ivory saddles and a nice polish... and a terrible sound. the only expensiv guitar ive seen that really convinced me was a simon marty... so nice.. still. take the bellucci guitars for example... aesthetically beautiful over anything else.
great performance! there's a synthesized version of this which is quite nice. here at utube, just type in "carlos futuro bach for bachelors chriistian bruhn".
nice! (i used to play that piece all the time...would you believe i actual forgot nearly half of it?!!..and I actually recorded it along time ago lol!. I like the 'pulse' you put on it..you have that "touch' in your playing..i can hear you playing a few other pieces too Ive come across in several styles and genres. Almeida,Bonfa,Martino,Emily Remler,Keaggy and Wes to name a few.
Very nicely done. I would be interested in knowing how long you had worked on the piece prior to making the video. Mostly just to inform myself on how long I should expect to work on it.
Thanks for letting us know what kind of guitar you are using. I have been thinking of getting an Spanish guitar, but after hearing you on this one I am going to think real hard before I buy one. Your other vids are realy good too!
The tone is thin, but the overall sound is good for what I payed. The guitar only cost $400. It sounds much better in person; the recording was done using the cheap mic on the digital camera I used. Thanks for the encouragement.
i have an audition at gcse music soon so i plan to learn this on guitar (as in i will until my fingers bleed XD!) and this version is somewhat cool :) well played dude
he did a good job...it was a little slow and he flubbed a few notes but overall it was good...fuck all the haters...actually this video helped me out with some of the fingerings for this song...thanks dude
I don't understand why anyone would post such pieces if he hasn't properly learned them. It boggles the mind. Those who can really play aren't fooled. Not one iota.
sometimes you missed some notes, but this time i heard bach in your playing, really nice & this genre shows your qualities much better than in the carcassi piece, keep on playing & don't care about the comments: they make you grow if they're based on music knowledge
The problem with the internet is you never know who or what you're dealing with. As it turns out, I have studied with Oscar Ghiglia, Eliot Fisk, and attended masterclasses by Michael Lorimer and others. I have taught and performed as faculty atthe universirt level. I have no interest in posting videos, but if it did it would be a hell of a lot better than this.
Then if you went to university you should know that music isn't a competition...
IT's an art and if more people played music maybe our world wouldn't filled of wars and terrorists. You studied whit all those people and went to university at 18 years old, he's 18 years old, It appears to me that he has plenty of time to get better than you are. come on post some videos And teach us instead of denigrating us.
If you want to see professionnal guitariste, buy tickets
youtube is for everyone who wants communicate there musicale expression freely. It also encourages new guitar player to classical music wich needs it badly because rap n thug music seems to be more in the interest of young people these day so before trying to discourage some young guy from playing try to encourage some to do it. I s in everyone's interest!
fyi, anybody that can play this to this degree of competency is quite amazing. You might need to practice, however, being a little more gracious in accepting compliments, without demeaning or belittling those giving the compliment. Peace.
Thanks BritScot12; I'll work on it and I hope others don't think that those comments were aimed at those who complimented or gave constructive criticism, just those who find it fun to bash someone without any advice to make their playing better.
Cool. Cant go wrong with bach

You play quite good: there are only less and tiny mistakes in it, but don't be so hectically!!
You're performance is too fast, so you lack feeling!
I know I can't do better, but you can do even better than you did!

Watch your posture you ll get back aches ( I Have the same problem) Your back should be straight and centered
Just a little suggestion, imagine yourself studying music and practicing 6-7 hours straight with back pain
If you can solve this problem now it will be easier.
