  • Beautiful picture and music. But I cannot understand purpose of this bird.

  • My favorite 32x game for graphics, music, gameplay and more. I wish I had even one 32x game.

P.s. @davidtabone93 Yeah, but there was an owl in Agony flying in only one direction.

  • Lol! Bird shmups!

  • Looks very nice, but seriously, a humming bird blasting small animals on the African plains?!? Besides, the sound effects gives me narcolepsy.

  • reminds me of AGONY on the AMIGA 500.........in a good way....

  • Beautiful graphics and music.

  • Beautiful music.

  • seems like a pretty tame shooter, unlike Gradius

  • I love the music to this game!

  • This game had alot of potential, great looking game and looks fun. The sound of this game though suck, I know those bleeps and glurps. There from XMEN for the Genesis. 16 bit sound on 32 bit graphix. Dam sega

  • @pBATMANq I love the music and sound effects!

  • Beautiful graphics.

  • this looks like Biohazard Battle.

  • My god, no wonder the 32x failed. It's like a knock-off of Apidya on the Amiga.

  • @TheTurnipKing ...which, in itself, was a knock-off of Insector X on the Mega Drive/Genesis. Duh.

  • Bit of a mad concept for a game but nice graphics and music, wish more 32x games used the new 32x sound hardware.

  • @kreeddem My next video is a 32x game. :)

  • E: very goood :)H: nagyon jó:)D: gleich gut:)

  • the game reminds very much of Agony for Amiga 500

  • I think this may be the only game to actually attempt using 32x's sound synthesizer. Sounds beautiful too.

  • I loved this game I would play it with my sis all the time :)

  • Okey, this game looks nice and is probably a good game, but I´d like to take one small point over here and ask a question;

Why in hell it´s shooting lasers?!? :DD

(Sorry about that kind of question, I just can´t understand)

  • This game looks awesome.

  • the sega 32x is it called in europa saturn or mega drive cd.. ,or?

  • A Sega 32X is a cart device that plugs on top of the Mega Drive console. It is not a Saturn or a MegaDrive CD.

  • holly hell!! OoO mother nature with vengeance!

  • What a curious game, a peaceful, nature-themed shooter :)

The sound effects are very very Megadrive-ish, i think, good old YM2612...

  • strange... never saw this game before..

It's so peaceful as the hummingbird shoots fire out of its face!

  • this is my verry first game ever lolz i love this game i was like 7yrs old lolz or somting like that. i still got it in my cupbord i puled it out a couple years a go. tripin on A lolz it was frikin mad fun

    lolz

  • Oh my god, I loved this game so much! Thank you for posting this video. :3

  • You're welcome bird forever person.

  • Wow, a bird shoot-em-up. How odd.

  • Game is not for everyone, except for people like me who appreciate games that are abnormal.

So the game is difficult, so it has no headshots, so it did not take place in WW2 period or Vietnam, so it doesn't star Dante, so it doesn't have zombies that you destroy, so it's not about sports, so it's not MGS, so it's not anything that the typical consumer market is into these days. BIG WHOOPITY DOO.

This game is unique and delivers something different that we'll never see again. Great stuff.

  • Because there is probably no other games like it. It's a special game alright.

  • what games were based in vietnam? i know vietcong, vietcong 2, battlefield vietnam, but thats it. call of duty 7 is supposed to be in vietnam, but noones sure yet. it just seems odd compared to all of those other main stream titles.

  • If you haven't guessed by my praise of this game, I'm both a nature and oddity game fan. That's why I like both Ecco the Dolphin and Kolibri. Sorry dood, but I'm not much of a war game fan because almost all of them look similar to me. Oh they may have different gameplay mechanics or take place in a different historic war, but to me, they're just war games. "Sigh" it's such a shame that most unique games like this one will only amount to a cult following at best. Oh well, c'est la vie.

  • i will like to thank jesus christ! with out him there would be no 32x.

thankyou jesus, may your kingdom come soon...

  • praise the lord

  • wow looks like they took advantage of some of the 32x's potential in this one

  • Yeah this game is a 32X exclusive.

  • hold on, this was out at the same time as starsiege: tribes, and people chose... this?

this has got to be a joke, i'm dead serious, this is an april fools thing, right? right??

  • I just bought this game and other then the music it is crappy IMO. I just find it to be stupidly difficult. Hard to control and stuff is flying at you from everywhere. Music is only good thing about it IMO. Wish I had my $22 back.

  • The opening music makes me want to cry almost... It's insanely beautiful. I want that MP3, I want to buy this game again for my 32X since the first one I had as a kid is forever lost. Thanks for posting!

  • Yeah the music is nice and soothing.

  • Thanks for this video. This game ROCKED! Why is it not on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console?

  • Very similar to "Agony" on Amiga !!!

  • My thoughts exactly. :)

Although Agony was much better in many ways.

  • lol, that is really not true. agony does push the hardware it runs on a bit more though. Im an amiga fan but I have to admit, this is a much better looking game and Im sure it plays better than agony too (which isnt that hard)

  • Wow! I am very impressed by the visuals and especially the sound of this game. The sound itself exhibits a marked difference from the type of muffled sound effects that ordinary Sega Genesis games would sometimes have. I am also inspired by the preview of this game. I was intrigued by the 32X from its inception and actually find it more appealing than the once highly publicized Sega CD.

  • Yeah, this one is only available for 32X. So I guess it is rare.

  • I hate it when I'm having a nice walk in the garden and some rampaging hummingbird shoots me in the face with lasers.

  • It would be a great pet though, a laser shooting humming bird, great for shooting down those pesky mosquitos on hot summer nights.

  • I had totally forgotten about this game, thanks for the vid!

  • No problem. This is a 32X exclusive.

  • cool now I know what a shoot-em-up game is xD have played a few fun flash games like this ^^ beautiful gameplay I wanna camp x)

  • I just found this game in the wild, complete.....I LOVE IT...thanks for the video. This game shows what the 32x could do!

  • Awesome! That's one rare game only on the Sega 32X. A collector's game.

  • i would have loved to play this...

  • The begging of the soundtrack, strongly resembled the opening theme of John Carpenter's The Thing.

Excellent upload by the way, because of this video, I am know going to prioritize that I get this game and add it to my SEGA collection!

  • Thanks, I just wanted to show what a beautiful game this is and it turns out to inspire somebody else. That's great.

  • You most certainly did.

The only two games I have for my 32X are Doom and Knuckles' Chaotix.

There are still many more that I want to get.

This like I said being my priority.

People always laugh at me when I tell them how capable the sound chip of the 32X was.

This game is a standing example.

As well as the visual effects.

Please don;t let others discourage you from releasing these videos.

They as well as the product have much potential.

    Thank you.

  • Why did you made this video in high-definition, if the maximum resolution the Genesis can display is 320x240 (low definition)?!

  • I scaled it up. It looks better in youtube HD.

  • look at the difference yourself. you can see the pixels in hd... it shows the actual quality of the game much better in hd, and appreciate the pixel art
