Anyone with a brain should have enough logic to know that the entire universe works in phases and the climate is a micro version of that. We were in a warm phase however we are moving back into a small cold phase (this is one of the coldest years on record). I haven't seen thousands of emails on dendochronology mentioned, I read that thousands of emails by climatologists were leaked. Perhaps you are referring to a seperate incident or could provide evidence that it was related only to that. Even so, with or without this link it is clearly obvious that one, Carl Sagan was not an Earth climatologist although he did have a part in discovering surface data for Venus and other planets. He asserted with little evidence that Earth shared its fate.
The problem with that assertion is that we absolutely must factor in the relative distances our planets share with the sun. I am sure he did, but did he fail to mention it? Even so, was he able to really make an absolute assessment based on the data he had available or was he merely bringing up a hypothesis which scared him into trying to prevent it. This video has so much wrong with it I don't know where to start. Suffice it to say the E-mails came from a single source in Britain. It has nothing to do with all the other agencies and the hundreds of climate scientists, like those at NASA, that have hard data on climate change. If you took the time to look at the content of these emails you might see what the problem is.
In one email they complained that they could not account for global cooling taking place, i.e. their computer models were flawed. Actual data showed cooling.
So what did they do? You got it.
They just "adjusted" the data.
These were some major players in so-called peer reviewed climate studies.
They have embarassed all real scientists everywhere.
I agree that they embarassed scientists, but just because these Brit scientists misbehaved doesn't make global warming any less real. This from National Geographic News: "Arctic sea Ice has receded about 40 percent since 1979," and "Governments are jostling for control over new passages." That's new shipping routes through the MELTED arctic ice! Check it out for yourself.
From around 1940 to 1979 we were in a cooling trend. Here's a Newsweek quote from that time.
"According to George Kukla of Columbia University, satellite photos indicated a sudden, large increase in Northern Hemisphere snow cover in the winter of 1971-72. And a study released last month by two NOAA scientists notes that the amount of sunshine reaching the ground in the continental U.S. diminished by 1.3% between 1964 and 1972."
If National Geographic is the authority on climate change why bother with climatologists at all? Simply get it from the horses mouth. If real data existed in the world, that proved the existance of man made global warming, there would be no need for scientists to falsify their results. It seems that the ability to bend the truth with the written word is lost on you, as was my previous comment.

Also, to say that all of global warming is a lie because of this incident is more than a little bit premature. A great deal of evidence exists to back the notion that man-made climate change exists, so I think a few e-mails are not adequate to disprove that.

Anyone with a brain should have enough logic to know that the entire universe works in phases and the climate is a micro version of that. We were in a warm phase however we are moving back into a small cold phase (this is one of the coldest years on record). The ice melting in the arctic is simply experience a normal climate phase as well. Like drought years and rain years, all phases.

Go read the wiki on recorded history, you will find out the origin started with the first writing system, or obviously it would be just a bit hard to record anything wouldn't it. When did we discover the arctic? When did the field of climatology begin? Give me those answers before assuming you know the world's cycles.

We observed this many more times in our scientific history. I regress to my original point, because it was a correct assertion. Even so, it is common sense, it is one of the coldest years in that past century this year. It is following a perfect pattern as well if you look at the climate data. Listen man, there is nothing wrong with keeping carcinogenic gases and other irritants out of the air by regulating vehicles and plants that manufacture energy or other goods. There is nothing wrong with recycling, or planting trees. There isn't even anything wrong with hugging trees. Because they are incorrectly proven. You can think you proved something, but actually be wrong. It can seem correct, but even a fractional error can be enough to disprove the entire hypothesis. People overlook things, it is our finite nature. Go look up climategate.. .we continue to dance in circles. The names should all be accessible. Evolution is not the topic for debate but we can do that in private messages if you like. Don't be so sure about your victory on that topic, it is an aweful broad claim.
Let's not mention in May of this year a petition was released containing the names of over 31,000 scientists who rejected global warming as truth. Dennis Bray surveyed hundreds of climatologists to find they had split opinions on it.

Sagan only identified himself as agnostic in the sense that if evidence were presented for "god" he would believe in it.
He said "My view is that if there is no evidence for it, then forget about it"

I haven't seen thousands of emails on dendochronology mentioned, I read that thousands of emails by climatologists were leaked. Perhaps you are referring to a seperate incident or could provide evidence that it was related only to that. Even so, with or without this link it is clearly obvious that one, Carl Sagan was not an Earth climatologist although he did have a part in discovering surface data for Venus and other planets. He asserted with little evidence that Earth shared its fate.

The problem with that assertion is that we absolutely must factor in the relative distances our planets share with the sun. I am sure he did, but did he fail to mention it? Even so, was he able to really make an absolute assessment based on the data he had available or was he merely bringing up a hypothesis which scared him into trying to prevent it. Or once again, did he work for someone? Global warming is a great business, it seems anyone and everyone is trying to make sure people believe it.

It has nothing to do with all the other agencies and the hundreds of climate scientists, like those at NASA, that have hard data on climate change. If you took the time to look at the content of these emails you might see what the problem is.
In one email they complained that they could not account for global cooling taking place, i.e. their computer models were flawed. Actual data showed cooling.
So what did they do? You got it.
They just "adjusted" the data.
These were some major players in so-called peer reviewed climate studies.
They have embarassed all real scientists everywhere.
Man made global warming is lies.

From around 1940 to 1979 we were in a cooling trend. Here's a Newsweek quote from that time.
"According to George Kukla of Columbia University, satellite photos indicated a sudden, large increase in Northern Hemisphere snow cover in the winter of 1971-72. And a study released last month by two NOAA scientists notes that the amount of sunshine reaching the ground in the continental U.S. diminished by 1.3% between 1964 and 1972."
Scientists have been proven wrong before.

If real data existed in the world, that proved the existance of man made global warming, there would be no need for scientists to falsify their results.
