  • my cat will never let me put a leash on him he will swirl and twirl and meow until i't's off, which is like 3 seconds. lol,,,

  • @daisy26000 It works much better if you start them when they're kittens. If your cat is a matured cat, my suggestion is to only put on the harness part without the lease and leave it on for as long as he/she will bear it and let it get used to it. Good luck. I now. They're too smart. Hehe

  • @myownstarbucks Thank you for the advice, I guess you're right my Minou is already one year old, he is a rascal.. :)

  • when i get or even touch my cat's leash she gets all excited, runs to me and lets me clip in on. its like she knows.... hahaha

  • I took my newly adopted Ragdoll cat, Mai Tai, out for her first walk today. To my surprise, she took to the leash and harness almost immediately! This breed amazes me with its trust, docility and loyalty. So many beautiful animals are sitting in the shelter, just waiting to be rescued!

  • This is exactly how my new kitten behaves on the harness. The only thing is, if he gets spooked he runs like crazy. Thus, i end up running around with him like a raving lunatic. Still, i'm thankful that i can take him out and get him used to his surroundings before letting him out on his own.

  • this inspiered me to walk my cat thanks for shairing

  • Hi CoCo, Your good on that leash.

  • @seanrutski he is also very good at fetching his toys! Dragging his toy bear up and down the stairs!

  • Good Job! A great alternative to letting your cat loose, much safer.

  • Thank you for sharing. I decided to give up training my cats on leashes when I decided they didn't have the personalities to be therapy cats. We don't live in an area where it's safe to go out with them. You have a lovely area for cats & humans. Looks like you're next to a lake.

Thank you for your kind words. CoCo enjoys going out for a walk but is easily disturbed by noise.

  • @grassyflames1

start training young... they will get use to it.

  • beautiful cat...

My cat falls down when I put this thing on.. :)

  • @4uOlga

thank you! Your cat may need a bit training. I am sure it will learn. Good luck.

  • You may have more success in putting only the harness (without the leash) on your cat for a day or so before attempting to put on the leash. Once you put on the leash, you need to take him out immediately before he tries to wriggle out of it.
