56.6sec is an awesome time. Put that into perspective, the fastest production car - Ferrari, GTR, NSX - only does around 1:03 I think. The track record is something like 51-53sec in a JGTCC 600hp turbo NSX
@AccordGTR the Mines R34 GT-R does Tsukuba in 57.8seconds.. That's not a "race car" but it is far from standard as well. It's still full interior, A/C & stereo etc.
@pinespeakz It's also considerably lighter than the Mines R34 GT-R as well from what I remember, something like 150-200Kg lighter. So the power-to-weight ratios would be similar.
This car was practically all built from CUSTOM one off parts from cusco and tomei.
The engine itself is a genesis prototype custom built by tomei specifically for this car, and most of the suspension and diff are made for this car too...
@tylarmorgan1990 You really don't know shit about this car. All the suspension parts are off the shelf Cusco parts. Granted the suspension geometry is altered in order to make this car competitive. The car only makes 450 hp because it uses a pea shooter 3071 turbocharger.

@pinespeakz Dude this suspension is not close to being off the shelf.... Every race car out there is used for R&D for future products. If you look closely and the brackets that come out and connect to the steering knuckle you will notice they are anodized aluminum. I have never seen any off the shelf Cusco coils with those types of components. And last I heard is that since they are AWD they are limited to the hp they can produce. I guess the rules are not in their favor but they still kick ass

If you actually do your research on the car instead of assuming everything you will find that not only does this car have a prototype engine built for the car by tomei, and a full body designed by voltex for the car, but rather almost everything but the coilovers and diff are custom.
this is simply amazing considering the car has a 2-300 hp disadvantage against the high hp evos, also how did they get it to weigh 2300 lbs .. I WANT MINE TO WEIGH THAT MUCH :(
@SR4410 You can, just remove all the interior, use a lot of carbon fiber and aluminum parts, remove ac and stereo, heater,ABS and traction system, use tiny battery, remove all sound deadening, have only one seat in the car (carbon fiber preferably), use plastic (lexan) windows and carbon fiber doors (and other body panels too). Lose some weight if you're overweight, use 1/4 tank of gas, use light wheels. Pretty easy if you have a professional shop with unlimited budget ,$100, 000+ in this car.
