Thanks for posting this. In all the games I attended during my years at OSU, I don't think I ever experienced a moment at Gallagher Iba quite like that one. That shot was incredible! I knew there was NO WAY we'd lose in OT after that shot. I, too, agree that the fans look much better wearing orange now. As a student,I wore an orange shirt to the home basketball games, and my parents could always see me on TV because the orange shirt stood out so well. Real fans wear orange! Go Pokes!
Milton ran right in front of me in that video. I was sitting behind the camera man in the student section at that end of the court and had almost an identical view to what that camera showed. Thanks for posting this casdas! I almost didn't go to that game because I had graduated and moved to Kansas the month before.
Chelsea, you must be a young whippersnapper :) Reeves' shot was in 1994, I think...that's about 3 years before the athletic department started the "Real Fans Wear Orange" campaign, which the fans fully bought into about 1999 or 2000. In those days, people just wore whatever to the game. It's much better now.
As you can see, it was the same way in 1980 when Eddie Hannon made his shot. I was at that game, sitting right behind the Louisville bench. It's one of my favorite OSU memories.
@casdas Why did it take so long for the Orange to catch on? I began my orange journey at OSU in 95 and it is amazing to see how orange football and basketball games are now. When walking through the tailgating it can be disorienting.
I remember when Eddie Hannon broke my 13-year old heart in 1980.

Look at the young coach Sutton pop in and out of frame. That was an awesome Cowboy moment.
