I've played this song and it can be hard to keep playing that melody, especially since your hands are stretched out so far. As a girl with smaller hands it can be hard. i was just focusing on your voice(setting aside the guitar, which obviously needs some practice), its actually very charismatic, you didn't really go off pitch and unlike some people who try emulating Dave himself(male or female), you had a nice rhythm and added a vocal dimension i was unaware we cud try on this song. Are you serious? I learned how to play this song in a day and it took me two days to learn how to sing and play it at the same time. By a day I mean a few hours of the day.

I can't read notes or anything. I just print off tabs and sometimes watch others play it if I can but I can only learn something if I teach myself. I'm not trying to brag but I don't see how it would take somebody a month to learn one song. A month after I bought a guitar and started for the first time, I could do ten songs.
