Thats what i`m sayin Marcio, it`s not all samba in Brasil. I like ur own way of looking at things from ur hometown.
We could talk about the most important problems in our homeplaces where we life. Without the power of money u can`t change this crazy world we livin.
I`m a german and i love the power of my country. I love the ideas that grows here in this country. To make this (our) world for a better place. But it`s without a feelin, so romantic cold -lol-. That`s why i`m lovin Brasil music.;-)
Hi, Marcio! Really sorry to see you tired like that... Well, considering the time of the posting, it's small wonder. I hope you're OK.
Of course, I loved the video! I don't know all that much about the "Beautiful Rio" actually, so it's not shocking or anything. When you watch some non-mainstream movies you see these kinds of districts, industrial and warehousing sites, in big USA cities, everywhere. Maybe in some VERY rich countries, like Swi., they look different, but mostly they are like this.
But it's great to see the "natural environment", not just the holiday idyll for the wealthy foreigners. This is real, not fake. And it's not particularly bad-looking either.
I was interested to see that nearly all buses in the streets appear quite new, and the majority of private cars are new as well. I mean, I can't remember noting cars from the early 90's.
Maybe I'm weird, but I really like observing those meaningless details like the shapes of handrails on pedestrian bridges, or the form and colours used for signboards :))
Keep it up, Marcio! And don't give us the bull about being uninventive or sth! :)
Yes, the buses are usually new.. they are always changing. The age of the buses is one of the best in Brazil. It´s also not so difficult for people to buy cars... because can pay them for a long time.
Actually the most famous places are in a small part of the city... so, probably a "normal tourist" will never visit places like these ones I show in the "Ugly Rio" series.
That´s why I show these videos... the most part of people live in places like those (or worst).
well, nothing special about these places.. that´s why I would like to show you all :)
No, it´s not a daily trip to me. I have to visit client in many different places, sometimes very far from where I live. When it is possible I record something to post here. :)
It´s a huge city and I have to visit also some other cities of the metropolitan area... there are more than 10 millon people here including the metropolitan area.

OMG, Learn how to speak, pls
You are so so boring, you should get a woman.
I don't get why some people in brazil have the need to show the worst things we have in brazil, while the whole world does everything to hide them.
thats really strange to me.
Just to finish this
For me you are the most ugly thing in the whole city of RIO
I just hate your voice, if i had to listen to your for moch more than 3min er day, i would kill myself

German`s love the romantic, in all kind of life. I think that`s a typical german sickness.;-) (sometimes very silly)
The other way i love "Brasil`s saudade".
U can`t explain this typically portuguese worth
a "hardcore(normal) german". He can`t understand this belive me. (romantic or dead that`s the way german`s understand this world).
Sometimes very funny here. It`s not enough sun in germany i belive.-grin-
Oh god, this crazy world u must love her more than a human can explain.-ever-

About the samba: I usually do not use music in my "Ugly Rio" videos... so it looks more "real" :)

Hey Nina.. I miss you!
I´m busy... but in a normal way :)
Yes, the constrast here is huge... you can spend many time only in really beautiful places or in the ugly ones.
Maybe that´s why Cariocas are so used with the beauty and the ugliness :)

Well, it's definitely not Corcovada...
What is special about those two places? Is it a daily trip?
I can't believe there is more to Brasil than beautiful beaches and sugar loaf hill!!
