Since 1758 it switched to a policy of forced Magyarization of Hungarian Gypsies and nomadic stile of gypsies was forbidden. Also was adopted the drastic measure of raising gypsie childrens in hungarian families ! In 1783 have been forbidden to use their own language, assimilation into Hungarian society being an success !

Just a short info from a history site: Hence, Cumania became part of the superior archbishopric of Esztergom, determining King Béla IV of Hungary to add "Rex Cumaniae" (King of Cumania) to his titles in 1228, and later to grant asylum to the Cumans in face of the Mongol invasion.
So yes seems to me rumania has problem with studying of history... big problem! ;-)

Some? All... The land of medieval wallachia was called as Cumania prior to 12th century. After that when Hungarians formed Severin and try to create a border land it was called like Ungro-Vlachia means Hungarian vlachia. Only from early 14th century was called as Wallachia. That's mean the first recorded society organization was created by Hungarians. It's also mentioned that around 20000 cuman families was settled down in Hungary by the king.

If we would be descendant of romanians who were magyarized we should have more from your strongest marker but sadly it's only in 7% in our nation. But our strongest marker 36% is 22% in your nation that's mean your current nation looks like rumanized hungarians!
