I have some Africans friends who have received me well and I have had some Africans who have not wanted to associate with me because I am African-American. I guess it goes both ways.

I have some Africans friends who have received me well and I have had some Africans who have not wanted to associate with me because I am African-American. I guess it goes both ways.
My spirit feels connected to Africa on many levels so it's good to know that we are welcomed home by some.

@Bunfire123 west indians are part of the diaspora but they understand more that they are descendants of west africa and dont shy away from it. in the west indies even though Aholou demented put out in french that west indians hated africans which they may do here in the uk but they dont in the islands.. lol! heck they even get free visa to nigeria where the americans have to pay for theirs.. lol!

Yeah truee, our forefathers did come from africa .. but there is an obvious dispute between africans and West Indians visa versa, therefore some west indians don't call themself african or try an have anything to do with africans/africa also that some Africans may proudly boast of the passed towards west indians.
Anyway like i said blacks need to unite other.
