  • Where are Original's trucks ?

  • Do you guys think you could do another updated truck clinic? Maybe this time featuring some calibers, indeesz, and sabres

  • Can Randal rII 150mm fit venom bushings or will i need to change the kingpin. Pls respond thnx.

  • I have bears on my new board I went out yesterday to give its first ride I could just go round in circles I love them

  • Indy's are important to the history of skateboarding? True, however Bennett is the first truck ever produced specifically for skateboards, followed by Tracker, followed by Independent. So the independent is the predecessor of the tracker? The ONLY trucks more og than indy are tracker and bennett.

  • I bought randals, but the axe is not 8 mm exactly, more 7.25 mm, so the wheel is always loose a little :(

  • which size bears will fit the subsonic contour 42 best? And if i will be doing carving and some DH, would it be best to change the pumpkins to venoms or stay with them?

  • @MotionBoardshop I have a Rayne Renegade deck and can't decide if I should use independent 169 or 215. I want a little tech slide but I mostly want to keep a slight longboard feel to it. The deck is 34.5 inches long and 9.5 inches wide

  • can you put venoms on bears? :)

  • indeesz period

  • why arent there any original trucks

  • @MotionBoarshop Do you guys have any preference between paris 180's and randal 180's?

  • I just got straight schooled

  • Can the paris trucks fit khiro bushings

  • @TBGskatemember

Yes they can, but we would suggest Venom or Bear bushings instead for better rebound and consistent turn.

  • What are good trucks for free riding?

  • Can u do a sliding truck segment

  • hey guys i love your channel, can you do a whole bushings, bearings, and trucks clinic?

  • where's the original trucks???

  • MAKE A NEW 2012 SLIDEIND/CARVING TRUCK CLINIC

  • @400exsnow

    MAYBE WE WILL.

  • @MotionBoardshop DO IT........... AND FAST

  • are trucks specific for a kind of board or i can just use any truck in any deck?

  • @MotionBoardshop hello, i ma looking for a sliding truck that is stable at speed and craves well so basically an all around truck. what would you recomened, i was thinking bear 852's or randalls, also what size mounting hardware should i buy for a top-mount landy 952 thanks and could you do another video on sliding trucks, bearing and bushings. thanks please help

  • @LongboardingIsALife CALIBER 50'S.

  • Which wheels are best for carving?

  • indys 215 or paris 180 for freeride sliding like standup slides and coleman? and also dancing?

  • @jusbringit

Indys are going to be more prone to wheelbite and turn more. Otherwise both of them are great all around trucks. To keep things simple stick with the Paris 180s

  • @MotionBoardshop what about the calibers or the randalls?

  • @jusbringit

Calibers didn't exist when this video was made.

  • @MotionBoardshop ive been riding original trucks for about a year, what do you recomend for me?

  • @MotionBoardshop i got a stock krown longboard to get started, is it possible to carve with it with just stovk parts?

  • carve trucks without originals or gullwings!?!?!

  • @mollylewislongboard

Both are terrible trucks that break a lot. We don't carry products that we wouldn't ride ourselves.

  • @MotionBoardshop not trying to start a feud or whatever but i bent one of my paris trucks doing simpler stuff than i do on my original trucks. it's a matter of preference really, as you cant do too much else on OS trucks, whereas paris trucks are a lot more versatile :)

  • @SaltKin

    Good point.

  • WHAT DO U MEAN FLIPED? sorry caps was on

  • are the bear 852's good for carving

  • @xboxman100yyy

Yeah just flip the cup washer on the top over so it acts like a flat washer and you should be good.

  • what trucks are good for freeriding. like hauling down a hill, speed checking, then coming around a crazy switchback

  • @rigmaster66

    Randals or Ten Inch Calibers

  • @MotionBoardshop Calibers kick some ASS.

  • are the paris 180 good for doing speed checks

    or are the 150 better?????

  • i wanna get the landyachts switch 37 but im not that heavy (110 lb) so i want nice carving trucks with it. odd match up. but any suggestionss?!

  • @ MotionBoardshop hey how much heavier are the bears than the paris?

  • wherem are carvr c7 and sidewinders and especially the holey truck the (reverse kingpin on a 60 degree base)

  • I went to a website to see some longboards, and one of the questions they made to me when I saw the price of the board that I wanted to buy but I don't know what means. "Add bearing spacers?" what does it means? I'm from Portugal. Thanks (answer please)

  • wheres the tutorial to make pumpkins better?

  • 180 degree hangars on a Paris? DAMN

  • what is the best trucks

  • are originalskateboard longboard s6 s8 an s10 trucks better than these for carving/snappyness?

  • i want to get a switchblade with bears and in heats mainly for downhill but with still enough turn for freestyle and carving any help on bushings is greatly accepted please respond thanks

  • how bout gullwing rastas? i know their long but are they good for carving?

  • Why didn't you include the Gullwing Sidewinders in the video??

  • i just made a shlongboard with my dad and we bought some slant brand trucks and they are 150s. on the box it says they are great for carving but when i used them they are pretty bad for it, do you suggest getting new bushings or going back to the skate shop. i have already flipped the hanger a couple of times to see if it makes a difference.

  • Paris or randals for sliding and tricks. Originals for that surfing smooth cruising feel

  • hey are the original trucks good?

  • does anyone know if gullwing chargers shorten wheelbase like paris' do?

  • so if i like polar bear i have to buy Revenge Truck ? :D

  • you sound flamboyant

  • @motionboardshop I basicly just slide, but do a little downhill on the side could you sugjest a good inexpensive truck

  • i have a landyachtz 9two5 would u recommend bear grizzlys or randal 180s ?

  • WHICH TRUCK WOULD BE GOOD IF I HAVE THE RAYNE NEMESIS AND I DO TECH DOWNHILL??

  • @MrJoey2miles bears

  • what does lean mean.

  • 3:06 "fuck" haha

  • i heard original longboards are not the best...is that true?

  • so the longer it is the more responsive or the smaller it is the more responsiv??

  • What brand is the lightest?

  • which would be better for carving the 2009 bear 852s stock bushings or the 2010 852s with stock bushings?

  • I need a truck that can carve well, and Can do tricks without bending, I'm 200 pounds so I'm worried about bending the hanger. was thinking of either A 180mm prandal setup, or bear 825's. what do you suggest?

  • where are trhe gullwing sidewindars?

  • @mexcanterrorist in the garbage on a sector 9

  • Comment removed

  • are indiesx measured by axle length or hanger length?

  • So the Revenge truck is like a RKP truck and a VKP truck made a baby?

  • I'm getting some Paris 180's and I was wondering if the trucks come with all the mounting hardware (nuts and bolts to connect to board )and the speed rings?

  • what trucks provide you with as much carving as original skateboards trucks BUT provide u stability when needed?? please help

  • Flipping hangars does not change the pivot angle. It just changes how they feel due to the rake.

  • whats a great slalom truck for downhill

  • Would you recommend paris or randal 180's for a rayne vendetta? I'm looking to do mostly freeriding and carving with a little downhill.

  • gullwing sidewinders or paris 180s, i like carving but hate how much the original trucks turn, i want something that carves but is stable.

  • Comment removed

  • you forgot to include original's

  • do you know if seismic trucks are any good ?

  • What are the exact lengths of Bennett 5.0 and 6.0 from axle to axle?

  • if i want to learn how to carve, can i learn will gull wing chargers? just cuz thats what i have on the board i have now.

  • can vertical kingpins that are 7 inches handle like 15mph? please reply thanks

  • ive recently gotten a punta lobos from sector 9 and im having a hard time trying to carve, i have the 10.0" Gullwing Charger Trucks and im wondering what is it thats preventing me from carving and also there's this creaking noise in my trucks every time turn or lean to a side

  • Will Revenge Alpha 2 drop through on my loaded dervish

  • What are the advantages to having a longer truck? You said that a shorter one will be more responsive but never said any advantages to the longer trucks.

    Thanks

  • @cbroown222

longer trucks are a bit more stable are speed and give you a stiffer stable feel

  • @MotionBoardshop Also if I'm gonna be getting an earthwing Supermodel, I've heard that independent trucks are great for it but would the 160 mm ones work or should I go with the 186 mm ones?

I'll have 80a otang inheats on it

    Thanks a lot

  • @cbroown222 less responsive more stable dugh

  • what about the gullwing sidewinder

  • what the fuck is wrong with you.

why do you keep moving the trucks around.

  • paris 180s vs bear grizlies vs gullwing chargers? (for a tan tien)

  • @tBgJaCk970 paris 180s will work so much better for a tan tien

  • those bennet trucks look gnarly!!

  • can you fit venoms into indipendent trucks?

  • I like to cruise and carve. So which one would suit me better: Independent stage 10 215 OR Paris 180 with cone bushings?

  • hey i just want a board to cruise around and maybe do a bit of sliding and very little downhill so what setup you think is best for me please give me board trucks whells bearings and bushing i should get also what type of gloves you like?

  • @gigilo159

a black dog longboard would be good for you or a loaded tan tien both have nice carvability and but are compact enough to weave through crowds or do some little slides and free ride tricks

  • @MotionBoardshop hey does freeride mean just riding around and sliding? and btw which is better for slideing 80a or 86a?

  • @MotionBoardshop hey guys i have a original longboard do you have any advise on which bushings and wheels i should get i am i major freerider

  • @gigilo159 BC moray

    check it out!

  • Could Randals fit on a sector9 Natasha?

  • what about bennett's???????????

  • How do the Paris and randals compare to the S9 gullwing sidewinders for carving?

  • YOU RACIST! "the only downside is the made in china!" but gd vid :)

  • im getting a Rayne timeline, 26.5" wheel base and 9.25" width, and was looking at getting some bear 852s... good move? other options are Randals, and Paris I guess... would you go 150s or 180s? I'll be mostly looking to cruise, carve and play around with some sliding and mellow hills. Thanks if you can help

  • where are the 215's?

  • very usefull video, thanks!

  • What is a good bushing combo for the indy 215 cause i know some bushings dont work

  • in your opinion what are better randel or paris?

  • @321UpRisiNg123

They are both great trucks, paris better for freeride and randal better for DH

  • @321UpRisiNg123

They are both great trucks, paris better for freeride and randal better for DH. They both can freeride and DH though. I like randals because they have a better construction. They wont bend axles easily.

  • @MotionBoardshop why are randals better for DH when the trucks seem so similar?

and im going to be doing reallllyyy light DH like we're talkin 15-35 would it really matter which truck i get to avoid speed wobbles? (my deck has no flex either)

  • @321UpRisiNg123 Paris all the way!

  • Mission 1s or Indy 215s? Preference, and please tell me why.

  • What is the benefit of vertical kingpin trucks over the regular. Witch on would be best for carving on a 31 inch board?

  • what rides similarly to sidewinders?

  • the chrome bears look so much better than the black ones, shame they're last year's technology....

  • how does the angle of the truck affect the ride?

  • Hey guys, I have got a Sector 9 Teahupoo board and I want to make it a carving monster. I been riding my friends gravity 44" like a beast and I love the way it carves. I'm more about carving than speed. What kind of trucks, wheels, etc. would be best for my Teahupoo to make it a carving machine? If it is possible. THANKS!!

  • @TikiOfTyranny the gullwing sidewinders are one of the best carving trucks out there. as for the wheel i would go with orangutang in heats

  • When are Paris trucks going to be back in stock on the website?

  • does it matter which truck works best for sliding? which would you recommend?

  • r the bears also good for freeriding

  • @woolerymasst

The 852s are amazing freeride trucks, they are 52 degrees so they sit up a itsy bit higher. And you can flip them to make them a more stable DH truck.

  • i just bought a cruiser thats 8 inches at the widest point toward the front and 5 inches wide at the tail. i've been lookin at the tracker trucks and was wondering what would be the optimum truck size for my deck.

  • @trojan513

125mm or 150mm would be the most prime

  • how is the bennet/tracker combo for carving? Ill be doing a little pumping, but i dont want it to be 100% pumping if that makes sense

  • Okay so my longboard is about 49 inches long. I want deep good carves that add a nice feel for riding. What should I buy?

  • just for an all around truck what should i get cause im planning on do everything on it. Im deciding between -bear grizz 852s, paris 180s, and randal 50 degree 180s. What should i go with? thanks

  • i'm curious as i'm not familiar with the metric system..... 9 inch trucks like the ladera gunmetal, is that the same hangar length as a 180mm truck? please reply

  • best free ride trucks?

  • i want to get some new trucks for my z-flex i was thinking of those black bennet victors but i dont want to spend too much as im short on cash at the moment so what should i get?

  • hey there, i was just wondering how wider or narrower (150 vs 180, just for example) trucks will affect your ride....like what does each do?

  • @mscommanderson34

wider trucks like the paris 195s are super stable but have slower response time to your movements. Then we have the 180s which are about the usual longboarding truck size, they are the perfect in between size with great response time and stability. Then there are the 150s and 125s which are better for like pool decks and skate decks. super fast response time, but i wouldnt DH on them :P

    Hope this helps man.

  • @MotionBoardshop

so basically wide vs narrow is like....control and stability vs maneuverability (respectively)?

My situation specifically is that im gonna use my board (arbor mindstate) to get around campus (with small-medium hills), carve around, and cruise down medium sized hills (dont like going too fast haha). Eventually I also want to learn how to do stuff like dancing and shuvits once i gain balance.

    what would u reccomend?

  • @AgentPretzel Good god no. There is a reason why they didn't list original trucks. They are awful.

  • Hi!

I´ve got a S9 Bomb Hills and I realy enjoy freestyle, slalom and drifting, what is a god truck for me?

    Thanks

  • @adiethelm

Some 50 degree randalls, or paris 180s

  • for all you pepole who like polar bears lol :D

  • bear, paris or randal for a dervish ???

  • @faintstreets if your going to do more down hill and free ride bears should be the way to go. but if you live on flats paris is better.

  • @faintstreets randal 180's for sure. GREAT truck, get the venom super carve bushings with half orange, half yellow. amazing setup for dervish. And yellow 4prez wheels if you are doing freeride, orange if carving.

  • @AgentPretzel original is only good for carving period.

  • try turning your upper bushings, they have more response after turns, and turns way faster, i did this with my Paris 150mm and they are beast at carving

  • Would Randall be alot carvy (as Paris) if I selected the good bushings ? Im 6" tall and 140 lbs (lookin to freeeeeeeride) thank

  • @mrPACarrier yes, the randal trucks are very carvy with the right bushings. Get venom super carve bushings in orange or yellow or a combo of both. The otang 4prez yellow are a GREAT freeride wheel, as well as abec 11 81a flashbacks :) hope this helps.

  • Hey MBS, how much would it cost to get some trucks and wheels shipped to London, UK?

  • @AgentPretzel .. Originals are the only carving trucks! why bother with anything else?

  • i actually bought some paris 150mm when i didnt knew a thing about longboarding, i want to know if randal 180s are better to carve than the paris 150mm, thanks

  • @manuel5845 well any 150 mm truck is going to carve harder than a 180 mm truck, but in general, randal 150's will outcarve paris 150's with the same bushings.

  • my trucks squeek and make noises there 2days old aswell.... any ideas on how tight and what grease i should use? s8's

  • @ragingLIAM That's likely due to the pivot pin squeaking in the pivot cup. Cooking oil works, but don't use WD-40 or similar, they're likely to eat away at your pivot cup rubber.

  • @AgentPretzel nooo...... horrible quality....

  • im kind of inexperianced with vert king pin trucks i was wondering if the 90 degree turning angle of the vert trucks can be compared to the 50 degree carving trucks. or even though they use a similar measuring system is it like comparing apples and oranges?

  • were do you get pink randals

  • @NJ1275 I've had a few pairs of Paris trucks before and overall they feel good for freeriding. But honestly I prefer the stealth trucks.

  • @NJ1275 Dude, I would recommend the stealth trucks cause I have them on my Tan Tien-I mostly freeride and they work perfectly.

  • @snoopyboy101 i have paris trucks, do you think they feel better

  • would you recommend bear 852s or stealth trucks for freeride on my tan tien

  • i have paris' on my dervish and was wondering if randals would be better for my next setup at keeping true axles cuz mine r a little bent but not too bad

  • are paris trucks flipable?

  • @chancerbob95 yes they are

  • Hey, wich trucks carve the best beetween Paris 180, Randall 180 or Bear Grizzlys 180 with Venoms Supercarve 83a?

  • Which one of these have the tightest turning radius?

  • do jim z speed bushings fit well with the paris 180s

  • How can i make my bear truck more for carving And sliding ??? Will venom bushings do the job???
