  • That is a lot of double plays.

  • @Mrjaybird32 this camp really helped me. not only the repitition but doing it right with repitition

  • IDK evry time I watch baseball players play it gives me stimulation and do the samething!

  • @reachboy1 i know what you mean there about getting fired up

  • Where is this camp held at? You have any info on it? Thanks

  • @Katcon1122 search gold glove prospects on youtube and you'll get an amazing video. i think somewhere on there is the website for camps. if not let me know

  • @Heavilinhobby I tried searching but couldn't find any details. Do you remember the location and who ran these camps?

  • Your lookin like Tony Wolters out there Cole!! hahaha

  • Your lookin like Tony Wolters out the Cole!! hahaha

  • Great playing kid. you have some amazing potential. being able to play like that at such a young age is great. your father must be very proud of you

  • @cardinalslover05 he is and thanks

  • @Heavilinhobby congrats on the cardinals so far!!! i'm a texas fan...

  • i like how the kid in the gray shorts tries to copy cole man when he jumps after he throws

  • @2014TopProspect i know. i've had a few of those on other videos. scouts aren't going to contact someone on youtube for the most part and if they did, it wouldn't be in the comments.

  • hey coleman have you ever played the chino hill storm

  • @MDbaseball3 i bet we have... but i don't remember it specifically

  • @MDbaseball3 have u ever played a team called "impact elite"?

  • @paintballgenie11 i don't recall that name. we see a team down here called impact but not elite

  • 2:12 first basemen has O'brien hat and I live in WA where was that camp?

  • @iLikeMyBassDownLooow somewhere in seattle area. not familiar with exact fields but it had large stands like a college would

  • @Heavilinhobby Oh are you going into high school as a freshmen and what league age do you play in?

  • @Heavilinhobby thanks for reply and are you going to be a freshmen this year??

  • @iLikeMyBassDownLooow yes freshman this year and league... idk yet. seems we just play all over and in a bunch of different leagues and tournaments. how bout you?

  • that field looks amazing...i could ground groundballs ALLLL DDAAAAYYYY

  • can i ask what the little "hop" is that you do after most of your throws?

  • @TheHater68 that is to remind us that there is a runner with metal cleats coming at us in a slide that we have to jump over to avoid getting shredded

  • @Heavilinhobby ohhhh i get it

  • @baseball4life337 in seattle. none on east coast. we fly there from san diego because it is worth it.

  • yo ur mad nice how much it cost to go there

  • @LegitScooting about 250 per camp.

  • Your freakin' amazing

  • @Trisdog7777 THANKS!:)

  • @Heavilinhobby Am I talking to

Cole-man right now? If so thats AWESOME!

  • @Trisdog7777 yes

  • Ive played at that field before, Isn't it Seattle prep?

  • @brabedeaux i'm not sure. i was from san diego and just went there from my hotel.

  • wats does the hop do

  • @LegitScooting the hop is to remind us to hop over the sliding runner's steel cleats

  • nice turf field lol

  • you are way beyond your league you look like a 20 year old guy playing.Thats how pro you look. You must be dedicated about baseball and where it takes you i dont blame you.

  • smooth transactions and nice no handed deliveries. Really talented player

  • I went to this camp and saw myself and freaked out it was a freak coincident

  • @iamtboneforlife where are you on the video?

  • @Heavilinhobby at the guy you glove tossed it to at 1:35... u were really good

  • @iamtboneforlife thanks for the compliments. i always like the way you jump over the runner. noone does it like that but you. it seems to be very efficient and more realistic as if you really imagine someone sliding and you are avoiding. i know you know what you're doin' ! giddy up

  • @Heavilinhobby dude im sorry i meant im the guy u tossed it to at 2:35 not 1:35. my bad

  • @iamtboneforlife oh duh... haha funny, E

  • I would love to play his team.

  • ive only played for four years granted im a narural athlete so baseball came extremely easy but that kid can be something special the hop bothers me though its just looks like he doesnt have the arm strenght but thatll come with age i supose i started in ninth grade and could thro 80 already

  • hes to cocky that lil hop he does is retared and makes him look stupid

  • @dacubanpaintballer irony is a kid who calls someone stupid and can't spell the word "too." wait till you get into a showcase with hundreds of players that bore the judges and look standard issue. then you'll wish you could have something that makes you stand out a little.

  • one thing i see about your fielding is sometimes.. your a bit mechanical.. instead of being fluid. but it all comes from practice and practice and more practice. but otherwise you look well above your age level. keep up the hard work man.

  • @Frinklez great comment...

  • your overated

  • Yea

  • Yea first game

  • @yankfan1355 that's cool that we played you

  • Yea I went the same week as you I was on the wild cats.

  • @yankfan1355 did we play you?

  • did you go to cooperstown in 2009 in August...you were the bandits right?

  • @yankfan1355 yes how did you know?

  • man, i wish there were decent camps and feilds where i lived to bad the only way to learn baseball the right way is by watching mlb and practicing in the middle of the street, saw your newest video keep it up man you improved alot

  • @OrangeLogos thanks very much. what part of the country to you live in?

  • im not trying to be mean but this kid shouldnt be a shortstop hes definetly one of those tools that throws side arm when he doesnt realize how bad it is for his arm

  • dude this kid has terrible footwork\

  • @Teamskatesketch please show us how it should be done? seriously, help me if you know better, i wanna learn

  • thts the worst shortstop double play i ever seen in history of baseball

  • haha there not even thorwing from 60 feet

  • when you go to a camp and are throwing for hours at a time, everyone would have sore arms before they learned the footwork/ glovework. the purpose of the camp is to learn that, not test your arm.

  • @jamo701 its 90 feet in the base paths idiot

  • we went to a baseball camp last week it was fun. we live in southern california so seattle might be tough, but looks worth the trip...i did however order the dvd cant wait for that. any local camps that you might recommend?

  • none so far that i have discovered. lots of so so camps.

  • how much should i practice to get aas good as you. 122,000 hours a day.

  • funny!

  • simply awesome!!! my son is 9, what advice can you give to help him become a better player? he plays middle infield now. thanks in advance

  • go to one of these camps in seattle. if you can't at least get their dvd and really study it. really practice alot on the techniques. it helped me as they are great teachers of middle infield technique. i'm going up for two weeks in augest to learn more. check out "gold glove prospects" on youtube and you'll see what i mean. cole-man

  • lilbalercorey, it's to get used to jumping over a sliding player trying to take you out

  • @sspitch03 ?? what does that mean? never heard that... explain?

  • @Heavilinhobby i meant to reply to the guy named libalercorey but forgot the @ sign

  • sure hope ya love the game!

  • thanks. i do. cole-man

  • i can only dream to attend gold glove camp. good job cole. octavian

  • he jumps evertime he throws?

  • is that field astro turf?

  • yes the infield is all turf because seattle has so much rain

  • Wow that is a Kool camp. great drills.

    Xbox out.

  • good playin good hands good camp!!

  • On double plays catch the ball behind the bag then drag your foot acroos creates a lot more momentum and work on the hands very nice tho

  • what are you talking about?

  • you should make more videos on you practiceing .i seen this video like 5 times already i love it. n the other one too.

  • no way. small world!! I wanna go to DR to play ball !!!! tell me which kids you recognize from your usa team you see in my video

  • umm, geoffrey, and two other kids, from the 12u team, idk their names though.

  • hey cole! long time no talk! those are some great camps, as this video shows. i saw about 3-4 kids from my usa team. btw, the trip down to the DR was great, it disciplined me in many ways. well, hope to talk to you soon.

    Brannon

  • A couple kids on my team went to the D.R. 11u team who won it all. How did 13u do

  • we came in third, arent you the kid who went to the infield camp with hebner at brannan park?

  • Yes. I was short kid with long hair. Were you the kid who hurt your back.

  • yeah that was me.

  • Awesom video Cole

  • awesome

  • J.J is this the Latin middle infield camp in Washington? Fantastic! How was his arm after all that?

  • Yes, this is it. Great camp. Great people. We kept a close eye on his arm. The worst he got was a bad rash in his right underarm. His arm has been in good condition for awhile. He just finished 4th in Cooperstown out of 25 teams and pitched 10 innings. (.9 era) and hit 15 for 23 (652) with 12 singles and 3 homeruns.

  • WOW, Cole Man is on fire!

  • Do you ever worry about his arm? What do you do for treatment or therapy? Kid is a great infielder. Does he have speed?

I'm looking to get my son (11) to a camp this year.

  • lol. it is a great camp. i recommend it. he is quick but not fast and is improving. i worry about his arm all the time and monitor it. he usually gets a sore arm when his arm isn't used to regular throwing such as after a break. when he's into a groove and has been throwing reugularly, his arm is golden. he had been throwing a lot before this two weeks of camps and it didn't bother him a bit. i asked him about it twice a day. his worst complaint was friction heat rash in his armpit.

  • I worry about my sons's arm alot. HE plays 3rd, short and he pitches. I am a fanatic about his pitching mechanics and getting his arm in the right position.

My son has the speed to play the infield but his mechanics are not there yet. He has some of the basics but is not "smooth yet". I had him watch the videos of Cole so he could see what "smooth" mechanics look like.

Good luck to you and Cole.

  • thank you. cole is working on getting the basics of proper infielding and then will work on making it less mechanical and more relaxed. he'll like that you described him as smooth. heavilinhobby

  • wow i cant believe it u realy train very hard

    !!!!!!!!

  • Incredible skill and agility! So proud of you and your dedication and hard work!!!!
