Does anyone have the original album on United Artists? When whomever remastered this LP they substituted a "folddown mix" (stereo to mono) of And I Love Her... which has Paul's double-tracked vocals throughout except for the lines "Bright are the stars that shine, dark is the sky"... On the original UA album, this song has single-tracked vocals only
I totally agree and IMAO during this period Lennon was the clear leader of the band and his influence was much bigger then McCartney's, so despite the fact that McCartney's contribution to this album were such beautiful songs as: and I love her, can't buy me love, things we said today and etc. This Album is much more Lennon's than McCartney's. I also want to admit that I can call myself more McCartney's fan the Lennon's but both of them were geniuses of course.
But to be serious, one of the most astounding songs of this album, for us in the Pacific Northwest was "Tell Me Why". The use of their combined falsettos was utterly unexpected. Man, I tell you, almost everything they did was surprising. You can't pick them apart. Each member, every album was unique and universal and combined what the hungry ear delighted in. They knew every mood and fit a song to tell about it. And one could dance to it. Their version of music makes or helps the body move!
Well, the aliens out there are likely to be the greatest copyright infringers. As they are being elevated to bliss with these songs, the don't even know what planet they came from. Little bastards.

Anyone else notice how most albums today have what one or two good tracks on them? Anyone now notice that 90% of the Beatles albums have 90% excellent tracks? They lack all of that filler bs that artists today try to pass off as music.
