This game is honestly a beautiful and complex game. I love how the music adds an alomost playful tone, I've beaten this game countless times. I also love how Genesis always reads from Loveless. Easily the most beautiful and best game for the PsP.

In FFVII (the original game that later spawned all these sequels/prequels) it's explained why he became evil, if you payed attention to the story that is. It's far too complex to just explain it in a youtube comment, so go pick that game and play it or read the full story somewhere.

No, Sephiroth is the villan in FFVII.

Remember in FFVII, they explain how Sephiroth was a good guy. Working for Shrina, until he discovered some dark secrets about himself?

Crisis Core is the period when Sephiroth did not turn into his evil ways. I don't want to blow the story for anyone who hasn't seen it.

But Crisis core is 7 years before the original Final Fantasy 7,
