  • How the hell do you do it? I've been watching a few of your videos. Despite quite a strong accent, your French is really good. Do you only learn what you're going to say on your video or do you actually learn the whole language? Where do you get the time for it? I speak 4 (French, as I'm French, English as I'm also Australian, Arabic as I used to live in Syria, and Japnese cuz it's easy, to speak at least), struggling to find time to learn more though...

  • try swedish!

  • OMFG how many languages you speak??! :D

  • tu parles tres bien francais

:D Travail fantastique Paul.

  • what song is that in the beginning of your video?

  • You need to meet Amy Walker and have kids and learn ALL the language and accents!

  • Very good Paul . Tres bien Paul . 아주 좋은 aju joh-eun (i'm learning korean ) . I'm from Congo Brazzaville

  • i had to learn French when i was little and also went to french school when i was a teenager for 2 years..wish i didnt cause i hate this language...wish i had learned something else like spanish or japanese....

  • You should try learning Danish. I think it could be a challenge. :-)

  • You made some mistakes but it's good for a beginner.

  • depending on which "kind" of french you want to speak, i would work a little on the accent of some words. French from Quebec is very, very different than French from France. Other than that, really good !

  • Dude how do you know so many languages LOL that's crazy!

Where do you learn? Internet or actual classes. And roughly how long does each language take to understand the basics and how long does it take you to get fluent?

Nice job. I am currently trying to learn German.

Bravo, vraiment ! :)

heheeee, hope that you will understand my french message :))

  • I think saying "tout le monde" instead of "mesdames et messieurs" when you mean "everyone" is much preferred. It's usually when you need to be formal or really polite that you would address everyone as the latter. But pretty good French there. (:

I'm from Belgium and I like your accent.

  • Wow that is crazy how you can find the correct accent to all those languages!!

  • I take french in school and i was proud of myself cuz i could look away from the subtitles and understand you!

You're french is good you prononciation is ..well it sound like you guys when you talk french you dont like change the sound of the alphabet you keep the english prononciation.

If id to that when i speak english ppl would laugh of me i know it.

Thats one exemple of why ppl must be happy when you speak french to them because they are used to ppl being douche.

  • @Paulbarbato essaie d'améliorer tes déterminent :P mon video -----> ma video :P

  • Pronunciation need serious work!!!!!

  • Hi ! Good french for learning it that way ( am french ) Love to learn languages and i would like later to work or at least have the experience of working in either tokyo seoul or hong kong. I've therefore been learning chinese for 3 years in high school ( am in my final year ) and will continue it for 4 year during university. I'd love to learn Korean and Japanese too ! If i've understood right you live in america but have some korean origins ?

    Gd luck !

  • @MrLazeefantabolous Hey man! That's great, good luck with all your work! I live in LA and I am half Korean. I actually lived in Korea for a year and a half. If you want to know the story look at my video "Speaking English"

  • Tres bien!!! Tu es tres amusant!!! :D

  • Well, I mean it's decent for beginning French, however, on a serious note, your accent is off, you fail to complete your liasons, verbs are conjugated incorrectly, and you are pronouncing -ent from "-er" verb endings and you should not. Trust me, I am fluent. French pronunciation changes from sentence to sentence. Unlike most languages, where all words are always pronounced the same, French word pronunciation will change, even if it's the same word. French is a very hard language to speak.

  • @ScentedCandles93 I think French is not a hard language to speak, but Chinese-Mandarin yes...

for a native English speaker the French pronunciation is more easy than the Spanish pronunciation

he did a pretty good job with this video.

    btw I'm French.

  • @burtoncaly it is quite easy! the only problem I have with speaking it is that im learning in california amongst my spanish speaking friends...... so I get mixed up on accents.

  • Comment removed

  • god dammit ive been taking french classes for two and a half years and you still speak a hell of a lot better than me

  • @wolfeman85 Haha If I were You I'd throw away the books and just speak with French people. That's the best way to learn, by absorbing the language from real native speakers. I use it a lot at my work.

  • Not bad for only learning like that

  • @SimoneHussussian Haha yeah my first time too!

  • Tu le parles bien!!!!!

  • @solene211 Merci! J'apprends toujours. C'est une belle langue!

  • @xed482 Whoa, for a second I thought you were going to insult me! Haha well Moroccans are cool! Why wouldn't I say anything about them?

  • I think there is a certain breed of People who find other language to be fascinating,me being one of them, so if it isn't too much trouble could you tell me how you learn so many languages so quickly. Thanks!

  • @glitchmaster8000 To be honest, for the purpose of these videos, I just translate and memorize, but I also practice with Native speakers a lot. My job requires me to interact with foreigners on a daily basis, so I'm not just compacting knowledge, I'm applying it in daily life.

  • It's amazing that you learn so many languages! I'm really bad at French and half of the people in my country speak French >< Maybe you should do one in Flamish :p

  • @DeadSeriousK Flamish? Wow I don't even know if I can find a reference book or CD that could teach me. That would be a cool idea though!

  • @Paulbarbato Just look for Dutch :p It's pretty much the same, the only difference is our accents and the country (Belgium and The Netherlands)

  • @DeadSeriousK OH okay! haha By the way do you know if more people in Belgium speak French or Dutch? or is it kind of Equal? I know it's kind of a linguistically divided Nation....

  • @Paulbarbato Half speaks French, the other half speaks Dutch. But there's a small part where they speak German.

  • It's good but the accent is a little weird.

The words are good but you need to work on pronunciation, nice work though.

  • not bad man! A little heavy on the "Ums..." but otherwise pretty good. Cheers!

  • learning other languages IS fun :D... this might sound weird.. but you're so cool lmao.. =\ i feel like a kid saying that XP lmao okie dokie.. thats all :D hahas

  • Hey no need to feel shy about it! -Haha thanks for saying that!

  • Wow you sound so damn SEXXXXYYY!!!!!!

  • Aw come on Omnigurl, Je parle juste français

  • tu parle tres tres bien !!!

  • good speakin', good accent, realy !

  • Merci Monsieur! Français est une langue d'amusement

  • Does that mean you have a Morroccan-French accent? haha
