@SmashOut200 not really... well, i never fired a real "fire fly" but im sure its not the weapon that'll hurt ur ears.

its the tip of the rocket round that makes most of the noise much like the nose of a jet.

but thats only if the rocket is FAR away from you

soldiers should be using any damn weapon they can get their hands on, especially the weapons the enemy is using so they can utilize any ammo they find in the field.

@brydon189 Worse in what way. Rpg7 is re-usable, which can fire different types of rockets. HP warhead, which can penetrate 600mm RHA with ERA to 700mm RHA without. As opposed to the AT4 HP's 500mm RHA without ERA. Can also fire thermobaric warheads.

But besides the point, what if you use up your AT4's. RPG7 there so use it.

You wouldn't want to do that outside of a video game. They want to make sure soldiers get the best weapons and ammo so they are less likely to get killed.

It's good that US troops are training with RPG-7s.

These weapons are used by countless US enemies, and the best way to get a feel for them is to personally fire them (which, in turn, is the best way to devise tactics to beat them).
