@BanginFour10s I used an 18 volt when I had four horns on the bicycle. Wont Kill them but I don't recommend going above 18 volts max. 15 volts should be fine
@council123456789 Well I think this is a rather cool hack job. A car ins't right for everyone, if it wasn't for cycle-commuting I wouldn't have lost fifty pounds and I would not have a very good savings account. Now I have both and am very happy!
I feel bad for people who HAVE to drive because they live too far away from where the "need" to go.
That is a really good question! The battery lasts about all day and I can lay on the horn for a good long time. I do have a video on here that shows multiple demos of the horn. When I shot that video that was only one charge in the battery.
Cool cool, I should be trying something similar. I'm bringing the bike horn to New York City, as there clearly is not enough honking here in this town.
fucking Einstein .fucking in the video is not visible, closer, damn, the camera brought!

I hooked a car-alarm siren to my bike powered with a battery from a cheap AEG Airsoft.
I was wanting to do an train-horn with a CO2 tank from a paintball gun, but this looks alright and more concealable as well.

will the 12Volt battery be big?
purepker70 3 years ago
Depends on what kind you get. I chose a 12 volt drill battery which can be purchased at any hardware store

Yo, good job. How long does the battery last? Does it die after a few beeps or can it go for a while?
