  • what do u mean by socialism and by not working in the EU i bet you dont even know... ignorance is really sad, it was the usa the fuck us, it was an attack on the euro, usa dosent produce anything that only thing that keeps ur economy is the fact other nations by dollars to buy oil and send shit there since countrys where buying in euros because the EU works and was working unlike the usa you crappy speculative banks like goldman sacks attacked european banks in ireland and greece tell me wrong

  • good info...your all over this you tube buddie...

  • I think it's obama's 9-11. it will be awhile before we know the true damage, but i ave a verrrrry bad feeling about it.

  • Their course of action as it stands today will turn the Gulf of Mexico into a dead zone. It breaks my heart to see this happening. Soon you'll see the dead marine life washing up on shore and the stench of death will fill the air and drive people away. The possibility of the contamination entering the gulf stream does exist however I can't predict it's overall effect at this time.

  • China has all but come out and said if gold spot price goes below $1100, they'll buy huge amounts of it (which would boost the price). That was 6 or 8 months ago I believe, and true enough gold has stayed above $1100 since. The chance of gold going to 1000 is literally even less than it is of going to 2000, anytime soon. ($2000 is likely going to happen in 2010.)

  • Gas prices will go up $5 a gallon.

Government will create temp job to help clean up the spill.

Non profit will ask for donations for wildlife.

I think that sums it all up.

  • oil spill possible solution : if Bop stack is still down there ,, ? lower a open clamp type custom made high psi hose with appropriate measusements to complete function of clamping down on the bop head bring the leak to the surface that way,,it would be much or a little easier to deal with the leak... and the head pressure from the bottom would be diminished because of gravity upflow resistance.

  • I don,t think it will matter to Oblabla. Hopefully he's already tore his drawers.

  • ah, CNBC monkeys.

Gold will not fall below $1000 USD ever again. EVER. It's over.

Gold may not even drop to 1100 again, I give it some chance above 0% in the next 3 months and if it doesn't do it by then, it's NEVER AGAIN. Never. Just as gold never went back down to 250 and gold never went down to 35. Gold is real money and smart people, and rich people, know it. Even dumb rich people know it from family traditions and social status. It's the facts of life.

  • How about the fact that they said they were only pumping 5000 barrels and it turned out to be 75-100 thousand...at 70 bucks a barrel that is a difference of them pulling out $350k a day versus $5.25 to $7 million? I smell a huge scam in oil prices.

  • DAMN that's a lot of jobs lost. Maybe the government should pay people to clean up the oil spill. That will create jobs and get back our gulf.

  • Yes very

  • I think this will be Obamas Katrina, but the libs will still blame Bush.

  • @mja2035

I'm sick of the liberals and conseratives, it means nothing today.

  • Thanks Demcad, you always put together good info.

  • rock on reggie man !

  • As far as the oil spilling. We've been pretty lucky that it's been kind of sitting in the middle of the gulf with just little fingers getting to shore. But aren't we heading into hurricane season? They better figure out something pretty quick!

  • Fucking oil spill is going to fuck up my vacation to Florida in June. I am pissed cause its like once in 3 years I get a vacation.

  • We are talking cost of 10 BILLION$ for that oil spill. 70769 there are shrimp boats for sale everywhere. We have a lot of people that take their smaller shrimp boats out for a few days each year and they can earn a considerable sum. Now these people are sellong their state of the art family owned shrimp boats. If I had a job elsewhere I would go away our area will never be the same. this oil spill will starve billions of people that lication allows so much life to spawn.

  • stability would be if greece would pull out

  • no way he will be out of a job

  • demcad, those job loss numbers are tragic. trade that fiat currency for ammo. the s will htf soon i think, though i would love to see a rebound and things go back to somesort of normalcy. the sad part is that we will have to defend ourselves from local brutes when benefits run out for everyone. soon enough friend, soon enough.

  • DEMCAD...could you please do a video on the vulnerability of the computers that control the North American electrical grid?

  • Foreclosures are down because short-pay offs have increased dramatically.

  • At first the information on the expolsion was not bad. No oil leak. Then it was a small oil leak. It is nothing like Bush and Katrina. Everybody knew what the damage was very soon. I'm from Mobile, with kin in New Orleans that I had to sneak in and get out, so I realize how bad that was. But this will be worse over the long run. But it is not because of Obama acting slow.

  • Socialism is failing?! NO SHIT?!

  • I think we poked a whole into the main oil artery of the planet and its going to keep spewing crude until the planet bleeds out and we all die, and Mickey Mouse was just another damn rat.

  • Grease should be allowed to fail. CA should be next, and so on. Enough with the bailouts already. Throwing good money after bad. They will collapse in the end anyway. The world has gone mad.

  • There has been a growing number of stories in the news over the past decade of freshman entering college with honors level grade point averages who need remedial courses in the basic skills. If the best and brightest are barely literate, where is the education level of those who dont aspire to college? I tell everyone to ignore the report card and make your children read, write, and do basic math in person.

  • i think its designed accident to put more regulation on the drilling oil.... i dont think it will hurt Obama because there is someone else to blame ......

  • I think BP should have to pay 3X the amount for the cost of the cleanup, then maybe they will think to regulate themselves and if they have another accident they temporarily lose all captialistic rights to the oil rig until they have some regulation approved by the citizens.

  • This video "OIL RIG DISASTER - HALIBURTON SABOTAGED THE RIG" is spine tingling. I can't really say I was surprised to hear the info in the video but nonetheless, it's shocking.

  • Obama is always touting about jobs being created. He never mentions how many more were lost!

  • I wonder if the 99er's have been factored in as far as future foreclosures?

  • its aig your money

    and you pay more.

just ask oboma. a real enviromental stewart' ask his wife.she has a Great garden..

  • Strange how obama told BP that the American tax payer would not foot the bill for the oil spill clean up.

And yet Obama is making us foot the bill for wall street and the big banks.

    Go figure

  • I am waiting for the big Methane fart to ignite and fire ball the gulf. BP will get the treasury to print and they will do a helicopter Ben thing on the floating oil with dollar bills, then GS will short the program and we will literally have a sea of money soaked in oil out there, you clean it it is yours to keep, pity it will be worth nothing and burning oil soaked money will become the new fuel of the future

  • If they don't find a way to cap off that spill it very well could be his Katrina.

  • yah, he's investigating all the banks except the original banks of the whole crisis Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. Thats were the attention needs to be focused. All these people are mad about the banks but the ones with unlimited tax payer fundings are getting away with all the money and no one seems to care.Investigate Fanny and Freddy!

  • Years before these massive teacher layoffs were being announced, they were flooding out of the profession anyway. Earlier in the decade, I remember reading that within their first 5yrs half of all new teachers were leaving the profession. As a former substitute teacher, let me warn people that this is the real forthcoming tsunami. The behavior of these children is out of control.

  • @hmorganman My cousin was a teacher. She said dealing with the parents was worse than dealing with the kids, "My Johnny wouldn't do that" bullshit.

  • This IS Obama's Katrina.

  • Don't think it's Obamas Katrina, people were directly affected by Katrina, people directly died from Katrina. People aren't going to die like they did in Katrina, at least not immediately, i'm not saying it's not going to be as bad. But it's not the same kind of situation.

  • @sbmillionair The impact could be much worse. We'll have to wait and see.

  • @DEMCAD You cant say ten words

    Without telling a lie

    You always bullshit

    Bullshit gets you high

    When it comes to bullshit

    Youre the best around

    Someday bullshits

Gonna take you down all care about getting paid my youtube asshole

  • @sbmillionair people were warned to get out before katrina.they did not. nagin could have bussed people out before katrina. he did not. shrimpers and fishermen have no place to go. tell them its not as bad.

  • @MrPlowboy66 You imply that the New Orleans residents who didn't leave prior to Katrina had someplace to go. What if they didn't? The US does a piss poor job at responding to disasters. Capitalism only works if you have capital.

  • @CommentorX no, capitalism works for people who are willing to get off their ass and work. but i am sure communism works for everybody in your mind.

  • @MrPlowboy66 Really? And how is someone supposed to work when their workplace was flooded 20 feet underwater? Snorkels?

  • @CommentorX i suppose you are talking about NO. katrina was 6 years ago. why dont you take soros`s advice and move on! it is too difficult to argue with morons. capialism brought this country farther in just over 200 yrs than it took the rest of the world 2000. the poor in america are still among the wealthiest 10% worldwide. maybe one day when you put down the bong you will realize this.

  • @MrPlowboy66 Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. And it isn't difficult to argue with morons - it's simply a useless exercise. Morons just fall back to calling you a communist and imply that you smoke weed whenever you pick apart their trolling.

  • Comment removed

  • @CommentorX history tells me that socialism doesnt work. next time you clean the pipe, check out the EU. You were probably unaware of the unprecedented flooding in Tenn last month. That is because they are handling things themselves, not waiing for FEMA. And they had no warning.

  • It was a North Korean sub attack on the rig that caused this disaster

  • If gold is ever below $1000 an ounce ever again, I'll be shocked. And if it ever does happen, it won't be this dollar.

  • This oil spill really isn't getting any bigger. I been watching the satellite images for the last month and its not only just stayed put but it doesn't really seem much bigger. If they plug the hole in the next few days no one will be talking about it anymore.

  • the banks are sitting on forclosure properties and not discounting them. and the courts are back logged and not pushing them thru. people not paying anything to live in the house next door for years. how is this fare. I' m just renting screw this stuff trying to buy a house

  • Well heard many predictions about gold. One from CNBC said it will go down to $600 an ounce. Another guy, who is a very angry individual on YouTube whose channel is totally devoted to debunking Peter Schiff said that gold would start to lose as soon as the dollar got between 78 to 82 index. Of course that didn't happen as the dollar finished for the weekend at 86.24 Friday, May 14, 2010. I don't see bailout stability. Particularly Greece, austerity could prove unstable.

  • No I do not think the oil spill we be Obama'a Katrina I think it will be ours. It is another nail in our coffin. Noe all the fishing and tourism businesses will suffer on the coast and the fallout from that will effect businesses further inland which will effect other businesses. You know the drill. I think we will be economic toast before the end of the year and remember they have let over a million people lose unemployment benefits so far. They are getting hungrier by the day.

  • I think the only reason Cuomo is looking into banksters is because he wants the vote when he runs for Gov of my state, it's just a joke. Paladino is another one in my state that's putting a bid in for Gov., looking into his background you find he supported Clinton and a few other questionable characters.

The cake always looks good when you see it iced up, doesn't mean it's always going to be moist and delicious. Thanks for posting Reggie.

  • Yes DEMCAD, the spill will be Obama's Katrina. Now picture this, a Katrina size hurricane full of that oily black shit dumping it hundreds of miles in-land. Dumping nasty black goo all over homes, crops and everything else. It will be Katrina x 10! FUN FUN FUN!

  • No, I don't think it will be Obma's Katrina. He'll escape blame becase he's anti-oil to begin with, and because virtually the entire information disemination apparatus of this country (all of the media other than talk radio & internet) are completely in his back pocket, ideologically speaking.

  • Hey everyone! Check out foreclosed properties on the web. I just bought a foreclosed house from the government. Check out how many they are foreclosing on while telling us they are trying to keep the private banks from doing the same thing.

  • Events are moving more quickly!

  • i told u so,about the oil spill.we r displacing huge amounts of life giving water with toxic kills everything oil.were not leaving iraq,a cluster F in afghanistan.the war economy is all we have left.

  • So gold will drop below 1000$, because it is over 1000€. Sounds a bit strange to me...

  • @DEMCAD - As far as the "foreclosures being down"...."The ultimate sign of housing distress is foreclosure. This should be obvious. Today, as in right now, we are in record territory for the number of homes in foreclosure. 14% of all U.S. mortgages are in some form of foreclosure. If you do the rough math, this equates to: 51million active mortgages x .14 = 7,140,000 mortgages in default or 30+ days late" (thecomingdepression.blog)

  • @1776SonofLiberty

Yeah I remember a few months ago reading a bloomberg article where some guy predicted another 7 million foreclosures over the next couple years I believe is what it said.

  • I hope gold does go below $1000 by year end. I'll be buying!

  • Interesting item demcat, very good articles.

The oilspill is a way to create jobs for the unemployed, guess who is paying good old BP.

Throw it under the temporarly season contracts.

See you soon for a new update.

  • Demcad This spill will Prove Obozo was right to try and tax us to death on fossil fuels. They won't be Happy til we're living in Tee-pees. And that's if you'll be able to afford a tee-pee imported from China. Bless You

  • Anyone that want the real reason for the oil spill pm me...very intersting

  • If they can stick a man on the moon they should easily be able to stick a plun in a hole. They aint getting it done because those in charge now are of a different generation. The pussy generation. Maybe they should call in the millitary. At least there is a better chance that politeness and pussyness will be put aside to just get the "f____g" job done.

  • @davfritz plug not plun, lol typos!

  • A newly released, must watch documentary. watch?v=eb1n1X0Oqdw

You will like this, you really wil.

  • im starting to lose respect for people like you. all do is post doom and gloom shit yet i never hear no real logical solutions coming from your mouths typical republicans a bunch of name calling neo-cons and demogogs. i aint for democrats but at least they try and do something about things what have republicans done in the last 20 years? and what have you done to help make things better? ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY-JFK

  • @mofoca22 First off demcad is a libertarian so first your wrong that he is a neocon like the pig Sarah palin. Second the dems have done nothing. They continue bailing out the banksters, they are continuing the Patriot Act,they continue the illegal wars, and they are spending more then ever. Obama has spend more money then all presidents before him. Even dumbass Bush. And doom and gloom well it is the truth. If we continue our path America will collapse in our lifetime. To be cont....

  • @mofoca22 Our national debt is $12.9 trillion ,we have 110 trillion in unfunded liabilities. We are now at a point where if the U.S. government taxed Americans 100% of their income, the tax receipts generated would not be enough to balance the budget. Likewise, if the U.S. government cut 100% of its spending including defense, but kept paying Social Security, Medicare and Medicid, we would still have a budget deficit .

  • @mofoca22 We currently borrow 41 cents for every dollar we spend. By 2012 our national debt will be 19 trillion(1/3 of the worlds GDP). And if interest rates rise above 5% the dollar will collapse. Now for solutions end the wars, close all 700 military bases around the world, end all entitlements, audit the fed,do a flat 20% tax on everyone, end the energy dept, education dept, agriculture dept, cut spending by 70% and end the unfunded liabilities.Cut bureaucratic govt by 75%.cont

  • @mofoca22 End the military industrial complex, drill for oil and natural gas in the US,end NAFTA,put troops on the souther border instead of Iraq. These are solutions that we libertarian always discuss. The problem is both parties are not for these ideas because they have no spine and no political will, the American people would never support these cuts, and these cut would put us in a depressiion in which we would recover from. But the way we are goin we will face a hyperinflation depression.

  • BUT.....2 farmers have come up with a solution to cleaning up this mess and its HAY !!! go to jeff rense's website to see the video !!

  • In their feeble defense, at least they linked an opposing view on CNBS. Still, that first paragraph was ridiculous.

  • the oil LEAK not spill as the LAME STREET MEDIA likes to call it is far worse than reported...i saw a video by a man who fly's small planes down there and he took aerial video of the gulf and all i can say is OMG !!!! this will DEVASTATE the gulf region along with the fumes that are being generated from this and causing health problems !! to be cont..........

  • You can't really compare a natural disaster to a industrial screw up. in my opinion this hole oil spill was probably staged so obama won't have to do what he said he was gonna do do by opening up more drilling off the caost and so on. This is is just another false flag situation where our leaders and people in high places hurt our country to gain more power and further their agenda of Worldwide control.

  • @sigmapsicharlie ....or is it a WAG THE DOG situation to take peoples attention away from the economy and the current financial HEIST that is taking place !!!!!

  • @PREPAREORSUFFER It's that too, these guys are insance, and its gonna take a full fledged Revolution in this country and I'm not talking about the Communist type. Im talking about the Constitution loving, Flag Saluting, God Fearing Citizens of this Great Nation. God Bless America.

  • Cuomo is a hack..he will not find anything.

  • Gold below 1,000.00oz by end of the year.......anyone who believes that I have some Ocean Front property in Idaho to sell you. These people are so full of $hit, they are desperate to keep this house of cards from coming apart. When he said it I bought three more ounces today.

  • @DirtyVegas7 .....gerald celente calls for the opposite to happen with gold !!!

  • if france pulls out its the end of the euro shortly followed by the end of the e u

  • dude, the reason why foreclosures are down 9 % is because people aren't buying/owning homes to foreclose on........

  • cnbc are a bunch of shills...spreading lies to sheep that believe everything is fine and recovering.....let it be.

Reality is gonna be cold and hard in the days ahead

  • There is no way on earth gold is going to be less than $1000/oz.

I read in the Telegraph that most oil nations legally require a remote control to shut off the blowout valve on underwater oil pipes from the surface, but American doesn't make it a legal requirement.

Its weird because I read it and thought it'd be big news but it seems not.

  • @DEMCAD what jnadreth said is true about the UK. I read an article about it a week ago.

  • gold is being held down. if it goes below 1,000 an ounce i guess i buying for the first time since 1998. and yes i did buy bars in 1998, best idea i have had.

  • You forgot Pfizer, the largest pharmaceutical company in the world is closing one of their buildings in Manhattan and laying of 1,400 ppl. 11 This oil spill is shaping to be the worst man made ecological disaster in history.

  • DEMCAD The DoD is in the process of converting contractor positions to government civilian positions. The individual currently working the position as a contractor is offered the converted job (government position) (most take it). Since no one is layed off -- the government counts it as a job gain and no job loss.

  • add up all of the first time unemployment claims since the start of 2008 it comes to OVER 60 MILLION yes that is right OVER 60 MILLION now how many jobs have been created since then maybe 1 million thats it. unless 2+2 starts to equal 7 id say we are screwed.

  • In an effort to diversify to non-metal commodities since I thought I had the metals covered, I bought BP & RIG (Transocean).

Anybody else want me to pick stocks for them? Just look under your nearest bridge, 'cause that's probably where I'll be...

  • demacd should be a teacher

  • don;t pull out!!

  • I HOPE SO!!!! I need some gold all i have is silver, and land.

  • Demcad, in the thumbnail for this video, you have a worried look on your face. I think when the Chinese economy and stocks are tanking, and they are worried and want to be paid back, then the U.S. should really start to be concerned. We depend on China, and China depends on us to pay the debt back. It should be interesting in the future. Thanks Reg.

  • The UK Job Centre is now offering jobs to young women to string and sexually talk on X-Rated websites....Thats how bad things are getting in the UK ;)

  • @jnadreth LOL. I assume your kidding....Right?

  • @DEMCAD I doubt it

  • @DEMCAD

Sadly I am not....The local Member of Parliament is investigating ;) I'll PM you the link

  • @DEMCAD you're*

  • @DEMCAD No sir, it is very true that women are being offered jobs on X-Rated websites in parts of the UK.

  • @DEMCAD No,it's true!

  • @jnadreth i would pay in food and board to have a cute young girl be my maid.

  • @jnadreth do you have the number?.....lol

  • @jnadreth - kidding?

  • I guess the oil spill could be Obama's Katrina.

  • @chiyerano In the sense of how he may have it dealt with, not in the sense that he was responsible for it happening.

  • This is great news and the best part is it's Teotwawki

  • please reg, it is not a war, it is an illegal occupation on groundless reasons. the US loves to be in so called wars because it rallies the troops and the brainwashed citizens love to see their military in action.. if they knew the truth of the matter they would be demonstrating like in the vietnam war.. oh by the way, it is not an oil spill, it is an oil flow.. and yes, this could mean the end of things as we know it.. someone needs to hang for this disaster.

  • Spain is worse than greece. It has 10% more unemployment.

  • Memphis City Schools Just announced 500 jobs cuts, in the midst of a 48 Million budget cut for the school system

  • @mr100rds What you know about MCS Im Live in memphis...

  • Ain't nothing good out any of this.

This oil spill is horrific. No matter how

you look at it. This is some BAD stuff.

    Cockroaches have taken over

    our Beautiful World. Exterminators,

do your job, and do it well.

  • I think the spill is way to small to be picked up by the gulf stream. If it continues to pour into the gulf for a few more months then I say maybe it has a chance.

  • If the bankster short gold to five or six hundred billion to cover the CDS, gold could fall. banks win, massive gold sale, huge buy after, mostly by the banks.

The gulf. Only the 'oil' is rising to the surface. All the gas and debris is going to the atmosphere and silt will we taken away by the stream. It's probably already out of the gulf.

  • gold will never fall...

  • Regarding the $27M vs $530M - The insurance money covers the cost of the sunken rig, which was @$500M. So while I don't like what's going on down there at all, it's not fair to call an insurance policy a bailout. They paid premiums just so they could get such a payout in the event of the loss of their insured rig.

  • @NoTreadingOnMe Hopefully that wasnt what they were aiming for. Just find it interesting there was no report on how/why it actually sank.

  • dem cad

    is it true ..

    your bug out donkey ..

    bugged out

    with out you ...

    that's cold bro

    alaskan cold ..

    take care

  • The oil "spill" was actually intentional. Either by the powers that be, or by foreign oil companies that have everything to gain from it. Either way, how much do you want to bet that the UN comes in and says "no more oceanic drilling" to prevent stuff like this.

This whole thing solidifies our dependence on foreign oil.

Prepare to pay up the butt for gas soon.

  • Obama (well, the Education Department) has recently requested off-the-book Emergency funding for school teachers...they requested $26 Billion to save the jobs of, they claim, 300,000 teachers who would otherwise loose their jobs next year...they want to add this funding onto a Bill to request for $60 Billion in more military funding...go figure.

Dont forget...$100 Billion of the $863 Billion Stimulus went to Education..of that, $48 Billion was allocated to "saving teachers jobs"...

  • Yeah, nothing like hyperinflation to knock the gold price down. The naysayers have been wrong for the past 10 years, but you never know.

  • Should Jeff Cox be writing for the Daily Show? This guy cannot be serious.... perhaps he may be on medical marijuana or something.

  • If cap and trade gets pushed through because of the spill and the oil companies push prices up on consumers to pay for both, the gulf won't have to worry about clean beaches because their tourist industry will be dead.

  • Think about the coming hurricane season, it will spread the oil everywhere! It will cover land and water.

  • nice updates again...thanks

  • If gold goes under 1000 the S&P will go to 650. maybe thats what they want.

  • i like your videos man ....

  • Here in N FL, the electric company says starting next month they will raise the bill for every household $8 bucks in ANTICPATION of the oil spill situation and the possible rise in oil prices!!

    -

Can u say SQUEEZE..they r squeeze everyone in every way.

  • @PontVedra when ENTERGY raised our prices here in Mississippi, after katrina, our AG sued for the return of funds to the people. He got it done, maybe this is an avenue yall can use as well. This is just more than stupid, it is being an ASS to the people who are already in dire straights!!!

  • I think the OIL SPILL, it will get out of hand to the extent of ruining Floridas West Coast Shores with Dead Wildlife Next Month if Not Contained Soon. All the Motel/Hotels along the Coast will Suffer Economically. The Gulf will be Renamed the Dead GULF Sea !!! What a SHAME !!!!!!!!!

  • I am seeing people removing their McCain Palin stickers off their bumpers, to hide that they voted for them.

When the people of LA loose their living, their going to be in for the shock of their life. Watch the Foreclosures.

Only a short time ago they thought this couldnt happen to them.

  • Reg, unfortunately, we are the insurance company that may pay for the oil spill.

    =

Per some engineers, this oil leak thing will not be capped fully by years end...mmmm...berry berry bad!!!

  • saying gold will go bellow 1000 by years end should be criminal

  • Looks like it will be cheap to visit Hungarian sluts like Aletta Ocean and Sabrina Sweet and Cathy Heaven now that the Euro to Dollar is collapsing.

  • @skyding8962 No, not really. Hungary is not in the €-Zone. They will be as expensive as always.

  • The whole banking system in France is exposed to losses from Greek bonds. That's why Sarcozy is using the scare tactic of "pull France out of euro" so German savers would bailout Greece.

  • The oil Slick is already resulting in a huge loss of people in the Republican Party. I am seeing signs that they might change their name to try to keep from losing too many members who are starting to realize what they really stand for.

Isnt it odd that in this times, the Drill Baby Drill people are being exposed for what they really are? Greedy, Lying, self centered people? Destroying the planet for their greed and then lying about it? They are being exposed for what they really are.

  • Jan 1 2011, gold price $ 1600 per ounce

The Oil spill is going to poison the entire ocean and kill all life in the ocean they cant stop it also will defiantely hurt the economy, if the methane leaks its a rap.

  • thanks Demcad!

  • Short of sabotage by the government, this oil spill should not be held against Obama (and I don't like Obama's politics, policies, or administration). Accidents and natural disasters happen. Until the American public and politicians return to some degree of rational thought, and stops playing this destructive political "gotcha" game, things will go from bad to worse. Rome is burning - time to man the bucket brigades folks.

  • @watcherjohnny It's his response to the disaster that will get him into trouble.

  • @DEMCAD Hey Dem: And that's a big part of the problem in my mind. What can he do (or have done)? The best experts in the industry are struggling to come-up with a solution. He is the President, not God. The government is NOT all powerful and NOT all knowing (do we really want it to be?). This guy is a politician dealing with the largest bureaucracy in the history of mankind. It's just that simple. Not an excuse for him - it's just the reality of things.

  • No worries for BP; either they pay a heavy fine or the consumers ended up picking up the tabs - through hiking gas prices. It's a no win situated for you and me.

To be fair the oil spill is not Obama's fault; but the incompetent bureaucrats, the corporations and the lobbyists should be responsible.

  • 286 teachers in oklahoma todays announcement. Oil spill is not a natural disaster and should be handled by the criminals who did it.
