VW starter test and installation, fourth engine install video

Hey there i have a quick question if you don't mind

i'm about to but my engine in to my car but before i do so

i want to make sure it runs.

How do i do the wiring off the car i only have the engine and transmision atached

but it's in a stand

@rayvdub If it has a coil, all it needs to run is a hot wire to the + side of the coil to make it run. It needs the big hot wire from the battery to the large post of the starter, then when you touch a smaller hot wire (or you can jump across the poles) to the small post on the battery it kicks in the starter. Some VW's also have a hot wire to the idle thingee on the carb. Good luck with it.

hey good to see dad and son together ,brings back cool memories of my old and now sadly past dad,we did the same stuff and loved it both. he by the way loved the beetlebug but made any car he could lay hes hands on.I FEEL GOOD.
