But what happened was that I had listened to one of Joseph's radio blogs and in it HE said that he "favored" communism and as we all know in the lead up to all of the systems where communism took hold they promised Utopia and delivered slaughter and oppression. Thank you Ben and all involved i support this movement with everything. People must change their fundamental view of the physical and the way the think about possession, equality, and potential.

If you believe that the state of the world is someone else's fault, and not indirectly our own, then some of Ben's earlier works would be well learned.

May this revolution shake the very fabric of belief and power and love, and the entire fractal will resonate abundance and understanding once more.

Here we go again...another project, another organization to add to the other thousands, before it. Tell me why we couldn't join WorldcantWait PeaceNow We Are Change Vets Against War etc Why must we all have our own organization that we start. Did anyone ever notice that there are all ready thousands of activist orgs out there already who just need participants...but noooooo I'm an individual and I'll create my own individualized organization.

@asymthought I sympathize with your sentiment, especially since those are some good organizations that you name. But although organizations should be aware of each other and working together, Stewart is making a particular point, which is important and pretty much ignored, except by the vets, to a limited extent..which is that the world is the way it is, because we are the way we are. Fearful, angry, pathologically lonely, desperate to escape.

Now I don't mean that magically..I mean it practically. If we could think calmly, communicate with each other and set priorities *well* would we ever have elected Bush? Would we have turned away when we heard about our tax dollars funding rapists and torturers in South America, and Afghanistan, and mass murder in Bali? Would we have been smart enough to avoid an arms race? But we, could not face those things and change them, because we weren't strong enough to face them, period.

A certain number of different organizations have to be out there so that people can find the ones that fit them best, where they can make the most difference. I met Ben Stewart in Boulder last year..he is a good guy.

Also I have no doubt that he is a good guy, my angste is that there IS an org for nearly every highly individualized need, nuance and expresion of the American people..you just can't get people to them as every activist knows lol

The organizations in general don't work together and again we see that this highly individualized almost pathological expression of the American people doesn't permit cooperative work and mass activisim...even when we're being collectively enslaved. .no doubt from mass conditioning.

@asymthought Yes, you can't get people to them...it is kind of funny. I went to the first showing of Encounter Point in Manhattan, and there were only about 15 people there. Ah the resistance to self-liberation..think of all the highschool kids who aren't homeschooling themselves, but instead choose slavery... But..despite the multiplicity of orgs, I have to thank Stewart for his talk..it reminded me of some further self-liberation I have to do.
