  • I'm pretty sure without the reverse he can't get the full explosion out of the right leg, nor can he get over the toe board enough.

    The problem is he is not reversing.

  • I still think that the reverse is the main thing that is holding the throw back from going farther. I like the way you are getting your hips into the throw. You could stay a little lower and chase after the shot more. Other than that, you look like you are making excellent progress.

  • i dont understand, how is the reverse holding this guy back? is it bad or should he not be doing it?

  • I said it wrong, I was thinking that not many people would watch this video. This is an athlete that I coach and we have talked about him not reversing before. What I was saying is that not reversing is holding him back. He can not reach over the toeboard from the position that he is currently finishing in. I feel like this takes at least a meter of of the throw.
