This guy doesn't even have his Xbox display settings right! it looks like it is at 480p and it's being stretched. He probably use the yellow video cable. He needs to use component seeing as how thats the only other way he can get the correct size image.

exactly. besides, if you buy a dlp and its more than 1 yr old, it wont have a hd tuner in it unless you buy it seperately. even if you do decide to keep it and buy an hd tuner after the digital transition in feb 09, you wont be getting a digital /hd signal. those boxes you see being advertised on tv about the change over(hd tuners)? all they do is take the digital signal and break it down into analog. so your paying for the box, the extra electricity to power it, and your not even getting HD.
he wont need a box after feb09, only tvs that get all their shows from over the air and dont have a cable connector in the back will need one. So pretty much just tv's that are olddd as hell

LOL you got all the settings stuffed up. IT isn't even in Widescreen (16:9) You have it set to Normal (4:3) and the tv is stretching the image.

Most newer LCDs that are coming out are equipped with a halogen bulb which lasts about 10-15 years.
And, by the way, scientifically the LCD HDTV is
better than that of anything that the DLP can
be.
This is because the DLP TV is simply a mini
LCD projector that is broadcasted on a translucent screen.
