You know what? I've grown up watching Hockey. It's practically second nature. I've been a Sharks fan my whole life and I love em but they drive me nuts sometimes. The Sharks have a great regular season constantly but they always, always, always, choke in the playoffs. It just drives me crazy when you're hopes for a championship year are so high and a lack luster SJ Sharks team comes out to "play" the damn playoffs. Hope the coaching change works. Also I was very bitter when I wrote that comment
Yeah, it sucks to have followed the Sharks for so long for what you could consider "nothing"... we will Win the Stanley one day! The coaching better work or it's going to drive me up the wall!
It was an amazing regular season. Thats what kills me the most. They looked like a Stanley Cup winning team! Ahh. I gotta stop going on about it though. It can't be healthy. And yes the cup will one day come to San Jose. 08-09 possibly?
GAH! They signed Marleau again! I don't know about you, but he kinda messes up a whole lot. At least 3 games last year, he lost the game for us (missing open nets(3 time in one game.)) Marleau does have his moments, but he is just too inconsistant for me. Replace him with say, Goc.
No that wasn't it. He just isn't that consistent. He does have his moments, like Saturday when he got in a fight, but if you ever pay attention to him, he whiffs a lot (trust me, I pay attention to this a whole lot) He may be captain, but I think that that will change soon. Personally I think from what I have heard from the players that Big Joe would be better in that positions, but who knows.
dude your crazy! so he had a n off season during the playoffs..big deal.everyone has them. If we ever lost Marleau anytime soon we'd be in toruble. He is a great player and a great guy. People keep saying that big joe should take his place as captain but I disagree. I don't want Joe to have that kind of pressure while he's doing so great. Patty is doing a great job and i think people need to stop getting on his case so much
No, trust me, I've been watching him for awhile. I'm not saying he isn't a good captain (I don't know how he handles his leadership.) I am saying that he is inconsistent. Not only last year, but for awhile. And no, we would not be in trouble if we lost Marleau. Look at our lineup. We've got plenty of capable centers. You make it sound like we have noone else. We don't NEED Marleau, but he does have his good moments.

I agree. Marleau had a separated shoulder last year and is one of the reasons why he wasn't doing so well... He's the Captain for a reason :D
