  • 1:25 wth!?!?!

  • poor paul and george. they had to fix there mics again. made in china

  • Were the Ronnettes with them in Japan, or did they only do tours in the States. I know the two groups became good friends. Phil Spector was jealous of Ronnie and John's friendship since he knew Lennon had a crush on Ronnie. She recently stated she would have fared better if she married Lennon or Keith Richards.

  • OH GOD GEORGE IS SO ATTRACTIVE...sorry...

  • @XxLongLiveEdwardxX he so is!

  • nao ha iguais

  • The Beatles are my favorite my parents have both of their cd's and i listen to them alot

  • @batman4664 You'd better check with your grandparents then. The Beatles put out a lot more music than can be held on two puny CDs.

  • @batman4664 219 recorded songs

  • @batman4664 i think there's a bit more than 2 Cd's of Beatles stuff out there !!

  • i think those microphones were made in china

  • Man I wish I was born when the Beatles where still making records:(Beatles 4ever:)

  • i'm nowhere man"Long long time ago.

  • it's crazy to think that the just the next year, Pepper came out.. Just one year is all it takes for The Beatles to change music forever.

  • @kennyg03 any in two years it was the white album and they were barely speaking...

  • @kennyg03 any in two years it was the white album and they were barely speaking...

  • I really like John's hairstyle during this period, it's cool....shorter in the front and around the sides and he's got those curls in the back, i like that

  • wow good quality picture is this avalible on dvd?

  • this is where yoko started plotting her diabolical plan, lol

  • 1:25 he----point of view xD

  • whyd it skip

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • 0:16 priceless.Thats the most creative way of saying hello*.john said ELLO* in a british style.

  • 0:07 George is like, "Que?"

  • i luv sucky beatles!

  • dude what up with the skiping

  • japanease females take the screaming to a higher pitch.

  • love the way they are :)

  • They so wanted to get off stage !

It was literally a hot mess . They were hot , George came early at 1:59 and he kept moving the mic and you could hardly hear John . And they also skipped the first verse . But I still love them :)

  • Stop moving mic !!!! - George

  • They're so attractive, and talented... <3

  • compare this beautiful song to the shitty music that is in the market these days and find how lucky people were at that time without lady gaga! SAVE MUSIC

  • @putopupsi Agreed, Lady Gaga, Slipknot, Surgarland, Little Wayne, it must all go. Not just Pop.

  • @JammerZice

    Agreed!

  • Who cut this up>??

  • in the movie it said that they sopped touring cause paul was dead..and the movie also said they wrote this song about paul beind dead and stuff....so if they did this song live...that kinda tells alot doesnt it.....

  • amazing bass playing

while singing harmony with no monitor

while he can't hear what their playing because of the crowd yelling

    with swiveling microphone

and still looking good...... that is Paul McCartney for you

the most hard working Beatle ever

  • @survivorproject great comment!

  • I think the city they performed in japan was called Budoken, I could be wrong.

  • @theawesomedude92 You are wrong. Budokan is an arena located within Tokyo, Japan. The concert was held in Tokyo, at the Budokan.

  • @yonnystarr thanks for the fact, i don't do a lot of research on the Beatles, i just listen to their music.

  • i think its EXTREMELY weird when you see the beatles in COLOR. It almost makes me think that they are FAKE or something.

  • I wish I was there.. George is Beautiful :3

  • @ixcheli99 Agreed! What a fox.

  • You would think that Japan, of all countries, could have provided them with a decent sound system.

  • ringo to me at least looks like one of those gorillaz cartoon characters

  • 0:06 I think George hit John with something, and gave John the "What? I didn't do crap." Face.

  • Comment removed

  • British , American Or Japanese

The Girls All Sound The Same When There Screaming <3

  • yup, beatle mania was a real condition and you'd have to live it to know it

  • Why did it keep skipping?

  • the beatles were a bit dull live :O dont hurt me

  • @starcraft108 I'm a harddie fan but yeah... I gotta agree.... they were badass live, later in early 70's =D

  • @josemontenegro777 The Beatles stopped touring around 1966. What are you talking about?

  • @Edochiiba as solo performers and Apple performance

  • @josemontenegro777 Right. Not surprised though, technology had only then gotten better, undoubtably louder live. And well, the four were definitely musicians, but it takes time to get used to being a performer as well.

  • @Edochiiba Right, but you can't use these performances as indication of their abilities as performers ... you can't do much when you can't hear yourself! During their two stints in Hamburg, the boys became famous for being incredible performers. There's only one crackling record left from that time (and it's really from 1962, so it only slightly counts). Check it out, though!

  • @starcraft108 Check out Nowhere Man live in Munich 1966, that was an amazing performance.

  • @starcraft108 This was around the end of their touring era. They were tired from all the traveling, playing the same songs, not being able to hear the songs they were playing because of the screams, etc. etc. They were tired, bored, and ready to move on.

  • lol George's tounge at 0:57

  • Is it me or did John skip a verse in the beginning

  • That microphone kept pointing to magnetic north

  • Someone needs to remaster this rare 1966 Japan Beatles concert so it has decent sound if thats possible

  • I love "Rubber Soul" especially this song. It's one of John Lennon's great work with funny lyrics and wonderful harmony...

  • @fctokyo1964 this is the first song they did that wasn't about love.. It's a landmark song for them

  • Beatles music translates to everyone. and i seriously doubt the Beatles had to advertise theire albums

  • @mrzachattackf I heard The Beatles once went to tour in, I think it was India, expecting things to be more low key and some rest from the Western audiences. Instead they were met by a lot of swarming fans at the airport. Just imagine. :D

  • SHUT UP U STUPID SLAGS IM TRYIN TO LISTEN TO THE MUSIC

  • It must have so refreshing to hear a song by male artists that used the pronoun "he" instead of "she" all the time

  • excellent version

i want them to get back to life

    THE BEATLES IN ARGENTINA

    it'd be cool

  • I dont care what anyone says, the Beatles make my bad moods go away with their amazing music, and I wish I could've seen them in concert. They were all so talented, and people who hate on them just need sit down, shut up, and listen to the music. Peace and Love<3

  • John saw Yoko at 0:15

  • @margaritadx3 (ignoramus voice) Oh I get it. Cuz she's from Japan!... Hyuck hyuck hyuck

  • Comment removed

  • @margaritadx3 i didnt see her at 0:15.What are you talking about?

  • @margaritadx3 nevermind

  • @margaritadx3 nice one XD

  • wow, these fans.

  • I think at 0:18 Paul forgot which song they were supposed to play. so then John says Nowhere man....

  • Japanese audience - especially girls - are the best and most grateful fans in history. Remember the Scorpiosn 1978 concert. The whole city (Tokyo) was turned upside down by these fans....

  • @tiborvivi The Beatles were the strongest voice of a generation of many strong, talented voices. Nature set them apart for a reason. It is so we do not just think they were just another great band, so we look closer and listen a little better. When we do, we will discover that they were prophets. Go to truthcontest (dot) com and open The Present, then read the section about The Beatles.

  • @MARMARR1 crt*

  • Your lecturer is one who shows little knowledge of music and doesn't deserve to listen to the Beatles. One of my favorites song : Nowhere Man. My Love [Paul]

  • George mistakenly chimes the B string but corrects with the E string at the end of the solo.

  • i'll hang out with you, nowhere man

  • i wish i woulda been alive when all this was going on. I love the beatles

  • @ButterflyofOceans IF you were born back then, you would not have seen this video, Most of the videos of the Beatles where seen until home videos and youtube came to be. All we had back then were a few movies and a few tv appearances. Now a days we get to see all the concerts that were filmed over seas that we never heard of.

  • @RetroGoop oh ok! Well i was figuring you wouldnt have seen everything. Its more I meant the experience of growing up in that time also

  • @ButterflyofOceans Agreed! :)

  • @ellawkrp :D

  • @ButterflyofOceans waSHES DO CAME TRUEE SO KApt drameing

  • The Munich version is better

  • LOVE this song...Thanks for posting it here. We have this and many many other Great tunes at TOMA'S TIMELESS TUNES, i hope you stop by and subscribe. I did subscribe to your channel. Thanks again. Tommy Toma.

  • they finally could hear themselves sing in concert...the Japanese fans were very polite and did not drown out the music.

  • They were absolutely fantastic!!!!!

  • 46 people are Justin Bieber fans.

  • They might not be as good live as they are in the studio from the editing but damn live or not their voices are voices of the gods!!!!!

  • they sing so good

  • You can see they were all getting tired at this stage of the game, I think it was all for the best that they quit touring a couple of months after this. The Beatles - the best and by far the most popular band in the world. This song is one of their best ones, even though a few songs that they played onstage post-1965 were fairly complex, i.e. this one and 'Paperback Writer'.

  • if u buy one of their books about their songs, this song was written by john at first it was about nobody and then john relized it was about him self and he was trying not to do that again

  • it was different then. bands werent doing what they do nowadays. the beatles created this and alot of other stuff followed including the jonas brothers

  • This song was written about the Prime Minister / Chancellor of the Exchequer of the time who had increased the income tax burden for them. Very unpopular! It's quite funny really if you know this...

  • @chrsyates Actually, you must be talking about "Taxman" (Revolver 1966)

  • underrated The Beatles song

  • lol the crowd is so much quieter than the US and UK ones hahahaha

  • @IcyScythe Thank goodness.... we can hear the harmonies!

  • @IcyScythe You know why? Caus they had rows of policemen and photographers in the crowd. Anyone who stood up was taken a picture of.....They were under control by the police.....true story...just watch the anthology or an intervieuw about this....

  • You know why John Waved in the Begining? To prove that they were there for the Beatles, not the music.

  • "we like to do another record , its a single record... ooooh , i don't know , i never know this things...' john was so fucking funny , rest in peace dude

  • @AquaGirl11354 well not really, rubber soul was when they started experimenting with drugs, and the type of drugs the beatles did: acid, weed etc. Make you think a lot about things, say you have a joint you can sit there and think well i'm going nowhere, making loads of plans for when i'm an old man but it won't happen - nowhere man

  • @AquaGirl11354 ha, well i doubt you do at your age. I think you probably won't understand it 100% till your later teen years, when you start to realise the realistic side of life... Then you become a nowhere man

  • James Paul McCartney is fricking hot then and now and I'm 14 years old

  • This song makes me feel so , non-existence. It's great. Oh my gosh, I feel like I'm FLOATING!

  • 何か、重かったぞ(=_=;) PCが悪いからかな?

  • He's as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see. Nowhere Man can you see me at all?

  • this concert must've been sad

  • john mustve had tons of japanese pussy on this tour... fuck yea

  • this song ranks in the strawberry fields - all you need is love - category. one of their absolutely best!

  • so funny! love it! Are they all wrecked or what.

  • It's unfortunate but people today really don't know good music, they just turn the radio on and listen to it pump out top 40 bass beats and digitally synthesized sounds but there are quite a few rock bands now that stay true to the heart of rock n' roll(not a Huey Lewis reference) and still maintain their musical integrity.

  • You have taste flame guy 714. Perhaps your class mates will catch on one day, but I wouldn't count on it. The Beatles had something The Jonas Brothers don't have; talent.

  • @manoffaith3112 No one listens to the Jonas Brothers anymore.

  • @manoffaith3112 and high magic o.o

  • @manoffaith3112 and voice and music and superation and the beatles can play the guittar(the jonas sisters use playback)

the beatles are a legend, probably they are the best band of the history, jonas brothers are simply a great cock suckeers

  • @manoffaith3112 just talent?.. ;)

  • I didn't know they played that song live.

  • お客さんがおとなしい(笑)

  • i had Beatles 45 vinyl records in 1964 when i was 8years old, in Toronto. I even got turned onto Bob Dylan's Music when I was 5, on the east coast of Canada, as early as 1962, by my aunt and uncle who were folk musicians theirselves.

I have been listening to Good Music, as early as 1959 , on The West Coast, when I was 3. I Love Music very Much, and am thankful for it to reach my ears, mind, heart and soul. Music really reaches and moves me.

    the Universal language, that transcends . . . . .

  • Oh well what do I no.......well acually I love the beatles so I know a lot bout them but they did keep movin the mics they had such crappy equipment soooooooo it's probobly tht

  • Flameguy714 - Your IQ likely towers over theirs. I was born in 1959. No music today permeates the musical aether as the Beatles did back then. They are so stupid I bet they don't think there is a connection with Gospel, R&B music and R&R via Elvis and many others. No music is old: It is either good or bad. The Jonas Brothers are a pimple on the ass of music's delete key. The Fab Four are Forever - Tony

  • when i was four my kindergarden teacher asked me and whats your favorite song?

    and i said "Nowhere Man"

    Long live the beatles!!!!

    oh and im 11

  • They sounded like they where hesitating to sing in this performance they where really quiet I have this book bout the beatles that said they didn't practice for this performance b/c they thought everybody would b droning out their music with screams but they where quiet so u could tell they where off key

  • @BeatleJohn4848 Hmm, I read somewhere that it was a really bad sound engineer at the concert.

  • you can hardly hear them at 0.32

  • Why the hell do all the people say how old they are? Are you waiting for some kind of recognition?

  • I study IT in college and as an assignment we have to make a website, i made a beatles one simply because i can write most of the information off the top of my head. My lecturer laughed at me and said THE BEATLES! i showed him nowhere man and he said it made no sense, i told him he didn't deserve to understand it

  • @lees2oo8 i really like this comment a lot , your lecturer knows NOTHING about music. The band that sold the most albums of all time & did more things for rock then any other artist combined right here.

  • @BloodShotNow ahh, he's like most people now man. Under the influence of bad music. I don't complain much, just makes listening to music like this better. Lets you escape from the real world

  • @lees2oo8 ..enough said!!

  • @lees2oo8

    u showed him

  • Nowhere Man is based on John Lennon's life in his early years

  • @georules0005 Actually the song was written by John after hours of sitting around trying to think of a song but couldn't think of anything. So he imagined himself sitting in a chair trying to write a song but getting NOWHERE

  • wow good luck to me! i'm only 11! 0_0 gods those stands are total fudge! ive seen them just try to fix them 4 times!

  • if the mic stands weren't inanimate objects, i would tell them to stay still when the Beatles are singing into you ! Fuck !

  • Amazing Harmonies from George,Paul,and John !

  • @flameguy714 they're going to make fun of you the rest of your life for being true to yourself, and different. keep it up, you might actually get somewhere!

  • Japanese shouts are like English shouts, but in a higher pitch.

  • It startles me how quiet the Japanese audience was. Probably because they had no clue what they were singing

  • John : the biggest Superstar of the 20th Century and an icon for all future eras

  • nobody cares about your age. we can all love the Beatles no matter you're 1 or 101! :D

  • Lenin hated this song as do all lovers of real music.

I will never understand why the maniacly cheap Brain Epstein wouldnt rent 3 mikestands.

  • @pbrick6301

I could never trust what anybody writes that misspells his name as if he was a 20th dictator. Of course Lennon likes this song, it was the first one he wrote with introspective lyrics.

  • @sccitylhh in other words you agree w/ me about the mike stands?

  • @pbrick6301

The mic stands are absolutely shitty. But they have never had a problem with stands in all of the other live videos I've seen, so I'm left to assume these ones were provided by Japan.

  • i love the beatles and theyre the besy :)

  • Weren't the greatest live, but still awesoem

  • The boys where clearly "gassed" by this point so you got to remember that when evaluating the perfomances.....I think they did pretty well here.

  • @indieflygurl12 me too! Im 13 and i dont think the beatles suck

  • those microphones sucked dick they kept moving side to side. idk why but when they do the close up on George 1:00 he kinda reminds me of neville longbottom from harry potter lol

  • Proof Positive!! Look at Georgies eyes!!! They gots great recreational pharmacueticals in the land of the rising sun!!!

  • John Lennon never ever enoyed groupies as much as in Japan....... XD
