I must admit that when I pictured Goren's mother that I saw someone like Anne Bancroft in the role, but Miss Moreno made Frances Goren uniquely her own!

No one have it. I think you just misunderstood. Some of the clip I put above were taken from the episode called Amend (season 7). It DOES about Eames's late husband, but it didn't show how he died since he died several years before Eames partnered with Goren. The show mainly about Eames/Goren reopening the case about her husband. If you saw her cried, that's only because she remembered his memories.

does anybody know if Goren knew Eames had a husband the whole time they were partnered, or if the first time he knew was when Quinn got shot?

ya, season 6 is a depessive one; i prefer 1-4 because he was funny there. but of course i love him in each single epi, he is just THE MAN! *sigh*
